Disney California Adventure's Carthay Circle Restaurant Will Offer Alfresco Dining!

We just shared the news that Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure will officially reopen on November 19th as part of an extension of Downtown Disney.

When Buena Vista Street reopens, guests will have the opportunity to visit some of California Adventure’s shops and restaurants for the first time since the parks closed in March. Its signature restaurant, Carthay Circle, will reopen with a new outdoor offering.

The signature restaurant will introduce Carthay Circle Lounge – Alfresco Dining, a new outdoor dining experience along Buena Vista Street. According to Disney, this unique dining location’s menu will feature “Mediterranean-California light fare, with small plates that can be shared or enjoyed separately at Carthay Circle Lounge.”

Chefs Chefs Andrew Sutton and Alex Flores have created a special menu that includes the “Carthay shrimp roll, harissa-roasted lamb, soy-glazed salmon, lemon-crusted fish of the day and an artisan cheese board.” And, of course, all of those items can be paired with a beverage from the Lounge’s wine and beer menus.

Kids will also have items to order from, including “orecchiette pasta with marinara and orange dragon chicken skewers.” We’ll continue to keep an eye on all the developments coming out of the Disneyland Resort as they prepare to welcome guests back to Buena Vista Street!
