Whether you choose to build your own lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop or pick up a hilt based on one of the Star Wars characters, it’s a fan’s rite of passage to grab a saber in Disney World!

The parks continue to build upon the Star Wars merchandise available now, introducing Force Guided Kyber Crystals (you can ask Yoda for life advice using them) and hilts from the Jedi Fallen Order video game.
And, Disney had previously announced that it would be introducing the very first color-changing lightsaber in the parks soon! The Legacy Lightsaber hilt is inspired by Ahsoka Tano, and switches from green to blue as guests channel their Jedi energy.

However, the dual-colored hilt hasn’t been available just yet, although Ahsoka Tano’s white lightsaber hilt has been over at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities.

We must be really in touch with the Force, though, because the new Legacy Lightsaber has finally appeared on the shelves in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!

Whenever you hold the lightsaber, a button on the hilt allows the holder to change the color from green…

…to blue! And, if you’re as obsessed as we are, you can pick up these new lightsabers in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. These sabers come in groups of two, so you can grab a pair or $199. Guests must purchase the sabers together and cannot mix-match with one color-changing and one white.

We are thrilled to finally see the color-changing lightsaber for ourselves in person! But, you might want to get yours soon because the Ahsoka Tano Legacy Lightsaber could sell out. While we keep exploring the parks soon, we’ll give you a look at everything else new you can find soon!
