In the past few weeks, Disney has updated their health and safety messages around the parks.
Specifically, Disney has debuted updated signage around the parks, along with an accompanying overhead message, informing guests failure to comply with the required face covering rules will result in ejection from the parks. Now, Disney has released a new push notification that guests visiting the parks may receive.
After leaving the parks for the day, we received a new push notification from Disney thanking us for wearing our face masks. The message says, “Thank you for wearing your face covering! Together, we can help promote health and safety. We appreciate you doing your part by wearing an acceptable face covering.”
When we clicked on the push message, it led us to a page with the same message, along with an option to “Learn More”.
Clicking on “Learn More” will lead you to the following page, which outlines the current health and safety guidelines in place at Walt Disney World based on guidance from health authorities such as the CDC.
Scrolling down, Disney provides “Top Things You Should Know”, outlining the Disney Park Pass system, along with the rules regarding the required face coverings that must be worn around Walt Disney World Resort.
This is just the latest in messaging from Disney encouraging guests to comply with the required face coverings at the parks and around the resort. Earlier this week, Disney updated the language on its website to recommend that guests who are not able to comply with the requirement may want to schedule their Disney trips for a later time.
