NEWS: Netflix Has Cast Alice in Its Upcoming Live-Action Musical Remake of ‘Alice in Wonderland’!

As we’re gearing up to binge all our favorite scary (or not-so-scary) movies this Halloween, we’ve also been keeping an eye on upcoming Disney movies coming to the big screen.

Multiple films have started to see a reconfigured schedule as Black Widow is moved to next year. However, other movies have started to announce production details, including casting for new live-action films like Peter Pan.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, another live-action remake of Alice in Wonderland is in the works at Netflix. However, the latest version will be a musical reimagining of the Lewis Carroll story, starring Sabrina Carpenter in the title role as Alice.

Carpenter is also set to help produce the film, along with Leslie Morgenstein and Elysa Dutton. Ross Evans will be writing the screenplay for Alice in Wonderland, which will be a modern-day musical set at a music festival called “Wonderland.”
