NEWS: All THREE Universal Orlando Parks Have Hit Capacity Again Today With Long Wait Times

Labor Day weekend is turning out to be a busy one for Orlando theme parks. And it’s not just Disney World that’s raking in visitors this weekend: All three Universal Orlando Parks hit capacity yesterday.

Since the parks reopened, Universal has welcomed back guests in a limited capacity. But that hasn’t stopped the parks from being packed over the Labor Day weekend.

That includes today when we noticed that all three Universal Orlando parks have closed after hitting their capacities. This means that for the time being, no new guests will be admitted to Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, or Universal’s Volcano Bay.

We’re also seeing some long wait times for many of the parks’ attractions. Obviously, the more popular attractions (like Harry Potter and the Forbbiden Journey) have long wait times.

Perhaps even more surprising is that less popular attractions, like Shrek 4-D, also have really long wait times, though this could in large part be due to the small amount of guests that are able to be in the theater for the show.

As expected, the longest wait time is for Skull Island: Reign of Kong. Though there’s only a 20-minute difference between that and The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, a much older attraction.

Of course, Virtual Lines are still available for Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, and Jurassic Park River Adventure.

The crowds are currently a lot bigger than what we’ve been seeing since Universal reopened, this will probably continue throughout the three-day weekend. We’ll keep you updated throughout the rest of the weekend.
