The decision led to the NBA postponing all three playoff games from yesterday that were scheduled to take place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Disney World. Now, it has been reported that two NBA teams have voted to strike for the rest of the NBA season.

According to ESPN, this morning, the NBA’s Board of Governors and NBA players will be holding two separate meetings to discuss how and if the postseason should continue.

NBA Experience

Today’s meetings come after the NBA players and coaches still in the bubble met yesterday, where they discussed next steps and voted on whether the season should resume. In that meeting, when polled, the LA Clippers and Lakers both voiced their desires to strike for the remainder of the seasons.

While no decision has been made yet, sources have told ESPN that it is unlikely today’s scheduled games will take place. Additionally, ESPN’s Marc J. Spears has reported that NBA referees plan to walk together today at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort as a form of peaceful protest.

This is a developing story, and we will continue to update with any further developments regarding the continuation of the NBA season at Disney World.
