The move has shocked health officials, and led to Walt Disney Company Chairman Bob Iger sharing his thoughts on Twitter as well.
According to a recent tweet, Bob Iger shared that the CDC’s change is “more than disappointing”, that it is “horrifying.”

Since beginning their phased reopening in May, starting with the reopening of Disney Springs, Disney World has maintained their own health and safety protocols. These include the requirements of face masks, temperature screening, and social distancing.
Additionally, last month it was reported that a new state-run COVID testing center had opened on Disney World property, with options for both the general public and Disney World Cast Members to sign up for testing.
