A Surprise Second Round of MerchPass Has Gone Out for Unclaimed Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction Series Items!

Last month, we shared that shopDisney was implementing a new MerchPass system, a lottery of sorts for shoppers to sign up for ahead of major merchandise releases. One of the first collections to use MerchPass is the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction series, which recently resumed its collection releases with Peter Pan’s Flight.

We now know that a SECOND round of MerchPass has gone out to folks who previously thought they may have missed out on this collection!

Shoppers are able to sign up ahead of time for specific items they wish to purchase in a collection before they are released for sale. MerchPass will then randomly assign ‘reservations’ for these items, at which point the shopper will receive an email if, and only if, they were selected to purchase those items.

E-mails have been going out today announcing that unclaimed items from the first round meant that MerchPass was able to send out a SECOND round of reservations to shoppers!

The emails came as a surprise, as before today MerchPass had yet to announce any sort of second round protocol. Let this be a HUGE reminder to keep checking your email if you were not selected the first time from Merch Pass!
