The NBA will be picking up their season in Disney World in just a few weeks on July 30th!
While the NBA will be staying in the Disney Resorts and training on practice courts built inside the hotels, the players and officials will still have access to the parks during their time on property. And, it looks like Disney has been majorly targeting another amenity to the basketballs teams staying at the resorts!
We’re sure that the NBA players will be tripping over themselves to get a hold of alllll that basketball merchandise that has made its way to the hotels! We spotted this fabulous display over at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
Players can pick up the Basketball Mickey Funko Pop or a new tank with Mickey just POWERING through that slam dunk (it must be pretty intense game against Donald and Goofy).
Plus, they can pair it with a Basketball Loungefly Backpack (which must look pretty tiny compared to many of the team members who tower over 6 feet tall)…
…or a fancy pair of Basketball Minnie Ears!
There’s always the Basketball Mickey Ear Hat if they’re looking for something different. And, of course, we absolutely think that Disney should let the players use the Mickey Basketballs on the court for some extra magic in their games!
Since many fans are looking forward to seeing the NBA players finishing their season in Disney World, this is certainly one way we’re seeing Disney welcome their newest (short-term) residents!
