In response to the growing number of cases in California, a new government mandate has enforced restaurants to close indoor operations for at least three weeks. This mandate has affected the operations of some Downtown Disney locations.
However, Downtown Disney in Anaheim will continue its plan of reopening on July 9th with all stores implementing increased health and safety protocols and social distancing techniques. The new mandate indicates that restaurants with outdoor seating may have the option to reopen. With that, there are at least two Downtown Disney restaurants that have confirmed their reopening plans for Thursday!
We’ve confirmed that Uva Bar and Naples Ristorante will reopen to the public with outdoor patio seating only. The entirety of Uva Bar is located outside, and Naples opened a newly updated outdoor patio last year. Hours of operation for both restaurants will be from 11AM to 8PM.
Much like the restaurants in Walt Disney World, the restaurants in Disneyland Resort will follow suit and provide a limited dining menu for guests. This protocol will be implemented at Uva Bar and Naples when they reopen on Thursday.
While Catal Restaurant and Tortilla Jo’s have outdoor seating they will not be reopening just yet. We will be sure to keep you updated as we receive more information about the reopening of Downtown Disney restaurants and shops.
