Walt Disney Archives will celebrate its 50th Anniversary on June 22nd!
To commemorate this “golden” milestone, a new documentary will debut exclusively for D23 Gold members. The documentary gives members an inside look at some of the most beloved pieces in the archive’s collection!
The documentary is called Adventure Thru the Walt Disney Archives, and is hosted by Don Hahn, legendary film producer. The documentary takes viewers through the archives of everything from the parks to the Studios, with special guests including the Walt Disney Company Chairman and former CEO and Bob Iger, Marvel Studio’s Kevin Feige, Pixar’s Pete Docter, and more!
The documentary will premiere on D23.com, exclusive to Gold Members, on June 27th. D23 Gold and Gold Family Members can register for tickets starting at 10AM PST on June 15th.
Leading up to the 50th Anniversary and the premiere of Adventure Thru the Walt Disney Archives, D23 is hosting a weekly sweepstakes that is open to all members regardless of level. Prizes awarded during the sweepstakes are rare items from the collection, curated by the archives staff. To learn more, head over to D23’s website!
