We’re missing the Happiest Place on Earth more and more each day that it’s closed.
To help celebrate Earth Day, Disneyland’s President Rebecca Campbell gave us a peek at what the parks look like right now!
As she visited the parks yesterday, Campbell stopped and took a few glamour shots for us that she shared to her Instagram! Here’s what Sleeping Beauty Castle looks like right now!
Hopping on over to Disney California Adventure, the park’s vibrant flower beds still look as beautiful as ever.
Campbell also shared a snapshot of Carthay Circle Theater. Here’s hoping we’ll be able to chow down on some of their signature fried biscuits again soon!
Pixar Pier is looking as bright and sunny as always!
We had to speed by and say hello to Radiator Springs and Ornament Valley before we left. The landscape here is truly impressive!
We miss you Disneyland! We’re thankful for the hard-working Cast Members that are still keeping you looking beautiful during this difficult time.

I keep seeing these posts about “see what Disney looks like empty” as if it’s something different than any other time the park isn’t open? It looks exactly like it does at sunrise. I don’t get it. Another thing I don’t get is why Sleeping Beauty castle is literally munchkin sized. I know the whole height limit due to flight paths etc but there are buildings all around the area that are 20 times that! Heck there are houses taller than that and they don’t have to have flashing red lights on them. I’d take a flashing light over a squatty castle any day. When I took my best friend for the first time she said, “aww a baby castle”. It really is small when you go back as an adult after seeing it as a kid. It makes Disneyland feel more like a “kiddy park”.
Buildings don’t require flashing red lights, but towers do. The Disney castles are essentially towers, and that is why they are limited in height.
