Epcot’s exciting transformation is underway, and with it new dining experiences will open — some sooner rather than later!
With the addition of new attractions and experiences as well as a total revamping of Future World, it’s safe to say nothing will ever be the same at Epcot.
And now, based on Epcot’s newly released Park Guide Map, we have opening confirmation for Space 220 and Regal Eagle Smokehouse — and info on which one will serve up breakfast in addition to lunch and dinner!.
Regal Eagle Smokehouse
Let’s head to World Showcase for an update on Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue in the American Adventure Pavilion, the quick service spot that will be serving up craft brews and down-home barbecue. According to the new map that debuted today, Regal Eagle has an opening timeframe December 2019. This location will also feature Mobile Ordering.
We’re looking forward to trying Regal Eagle’s four types of regional barbecue with four distinct house-made sauces — and we could be doing just that within days!
We now head to Future World for an exciting update on Space 220. We recently speculated that the restaurant would open in February, per a job posting for the restaurant. And now the Guide Map confirms “Early 2020” for the immersive, space station-inspired restaurant.
Even more intriguing: Space 220 will be serving Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, according to the map entry for the restaurant!
The upcoming table service spot, serving an internationally-inspired menu and extensive wine list, is also listed in the $$-$$$, meaning mid to high level prices. It will be located just off to right and slightly behind Mission: Space.
We can’t wait for the opening of both of these exciting new dining options and will keep you in the know as we receive additional information.
