Space 220, the immersive, space-themed restaurant coming to Epcot’s Future World, seems to be indicating a possible opening date… well, month!
Offering an internationally-inspired menu and run by Disney favorite, Patina Restaurant Group, Space 220 will be a dining adventure set in a space station 220 miles above Epcot.
We recently shared the news that the highly anticipated restaurant had lost its executive chef. And we took a look at what could be the restaurant’s entrance on the right side of the Mission: Space attraction. Now, according to a job listing on the Patina Group’s website, the restaurant seems set to open sometime in February 2020.
Though a February 2020 opening is perceived by some to be a delay, Disney’s announcement at D23 in August was simply “this winter.” And it’s hard to deny the poetry of Space 220 opening on 2/20/2020. Of course we’ll keep you posted as details continue to emerge on this one-of-a-kind dining experience.
