The Search for the Disney Volunteer Family of the Year Is on!

Do you know a family that spends a bunch of their time volunteering and helping others?

Well, if you do, Disney has partnered with Points of Light (the world’s largest organization dedicated to volunteering) to find the volunteer family of the year!

Both schools and nonprofits who are registered for the Disney Family Volunteering Reward Program can nominate a family that shows the power of volunteering together. To register your school or nonprofit or to nominate a family, click here!

Nominations will be open from now until June 20, 2019. And get this — the family that WINS volunteer family of the year will win a trip to Walt Disney World! And they will join Disney for a celebration on Family Volunteer Day, on November 23, 2019.

AND the school or organization that nominated the family will receive a $10,000 grant so they can continue their work in the community.

Disney notes that since launching last year, the Disney Family Volunteering Reward Program has mobilized nearly 500,000 volunteers representing more than 84,000 families. The program has generated more than 2.2 million hours of volunteer service and more than 10,000 projects have been completed, representing all 50 states.
