Teachers — and school support staff — deserve our respect for the jobs they do, and the seven Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels are making sure they get it!

For stays May 27-Sept. 3, 2019, these seven hotels are offering special “Teacher Appreciation Rates.” The rates are available to preschool, daycare, kindergarten through college teachers and support staff in the U.S. and Canada.
The Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels are located just a short walk away from Disney Springs, which now features more than 150 retail, dining and entertainment establishments. Guests staying at these Official Walt Disney World Hotels also enjoy two great benefits now through December 31, 2019: Extra Magic Hours and 60-Day FastPass+, with valid theme park admission. Ask your travel provider to ensure they can give you the necessary ticket confirmation or hotel reservation number needed to use this benefit.
The seven hotels also provide shuttle transportation approximately every 30 minutes to all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks, two Water Parks, and at night to the Disney Springs area.

In addition, guests receive the “Disney Springs Passport” booklet that features discounts and specials from Disney Springs merchants on entertainment, shopping and dining. Among the coupons featured in the booklet are discounts and special offers at Frontera Cocina, Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante, T-REX Café, Rainforest Café at Disney Springs Marketplace, Wolfgang Puck Express, The Polite Pig, House of Blues Restaurant, Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company, and Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop.

My family and I stayed at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista on 5/31 for a night before strolling over to one of the WDW resorts for the week. My wife is a teacher and Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista front desk didn’t have a clue about the Teacher Appreciation Rates and one front desk employee was rude about it. My wife showed the employee the website list of the following Disney Springs resorts that has the teacher appreciation rate. But we were not given the rate for the night. We will not stay there again
