The Edison to Host Vodka Tasting and Cocktail Class

Even though the Epcot Food and Wine Festival is confined strictly to that theme park this year, other specialty food and wine events continue to pop up elsewhere around the Walt Disney World Resort.

On Tuesday, October 9, The Edison at Disney Springs will team up with Tony Abou-Ganim, author of Vodka Distilled, to host a class on vodka basics.

The “Vodka 101” class will be accompanied by a tasting that will give participants the chance to sample a selection of vodkas regularly offered at The Edison, made from an array of raw materials.

Abou-Ganim, who has made dozens of national TV appearances on shows including TODAY and Good Morning America, earned the nickname “The Modern Mixologist” after penning a  book by the same name. His Vodka 101 class is geared to instructing the public that not all vodkas are the same.

Included in the event ticket price is a reception with passed appetizers paired with vodka-based cocktails, as well as a signed copy of Abou-Ganim’s Vodka Distilled.

Tickets for this special event are $55 per person.  Space is very limited.
