Now, what’s happening in Disney World in February? Let’s find out!

The 2024 Princess Half Marathon Weekend Kicks Off!

It’s time to lace up your running shoes for the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend! If you aren’t familiar, runDisney hosts special race events in Disney World, and they are SUPER popular. This February, the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend will take place from February 22nd to 26th, 2024.

Even if you’re NOT a runner, this news is still important! Why? Well, these events tend to bring extra crowds to Disney World. The races take place super early in the morning, but that means all those participants have the rest of the day to visit the parks! Thousands of racers = thousands of extra people in the parks. Keep this in mind if your trip overlaps with the race.

During the races, you may see some road closures around Disney World. Between 3AM to 7:30AM on February 24th, look out for some closures near Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Then, on February 25th, the roads will be closed from 3AM to 10AM.
