We’ve now got even more of an idea of what the latest rooms to join the Disney Vacation Club hotel offerings will look like (and they’re even more beautiful than we imagined!)

Early last year, Disney announced they would be taking the regular wilderness cabins from Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground out of commission and reimagining their look. Even more recently, Disney revealed when we could expect to see these cabins to begin booking. Now, we’re getting a further look at what you can expect to find inside!
The reimagined cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort will begin opening on July 1st, 2024. The initial announcement was made by Disney Vacation Club and Disney also intends to release a second group of cabins that will open later in July with even more opening throughout the year.

Along with the announcement about when we will be able to book these cabins, Disney shared a few more images to give us a peek into their latest rooms to be offered. Let’s take a look at what was shared!
First off, the floorplan for these cabins seems fairly similar to the layout that was already established with the previous cabins with a small change in where the bathroom is located.

However, one key thing to note with the updates is a much more open-concept feel to the cabin spaces that will make you think you’ve jumped right into something you’d watch on HGTV.
We got a sneak peek at what to expect as you walk through the inside, starting with the main living room, kitchen, and dining area.

This feels very reminiscent of a deluxe studio room but with a full kitchen and dining area set up.
As we venture toward one of the further sides of the cabin we’re welcomed into the bedroom space.

This functional nighttime abode will host most of the family in one room between the stand-alone bed and the updated design even features the popular bunk beds for the young ones!
Coming out of the bathroom, and down the opposite side of the hall is where you’ll meet the bathroom.

This space doubles as two individual spaces allowing you a separate “getting ready” spot with a vanity while the bathroom and toilet section can be closed off with a door.
If you come back out to the main living space you’ll notice one of the beds is hiding in plain sight!

It’s neatly tucked away within the wall (Murphy bed style) and now we’ve got a visual of what it will look like when it’s folded out!

You can see the scenic landscape above the headboard of the bed featuring a truck and what appears to be an older-style RV nestled among nature. It looks so peaceful!
We’ll be keeping you updated as more information becomes available, so be sure to stay tuned with us for the latest in updates!
