DVC Lounges Can Be Traced Back To The 1964-1965 World’s Fair

Disney’s participation in the 1964-1965 New York World’s Fair was a watershed moment for the company. The Fair saw the implementation of Audio-Animatronics technology, as well as the introduction of the PeopleMover ride system. Walt Disney took something else from the Fair: The use of VIP lounges, which spurred him to create Club 33.
