Even though we had reservations, we had to wait almost 30 minutes. Hostess was down right hostile and could smile and was pretty rude. Dinner was greasy and just OK. Ice cream and milk shakes were delicious. We were a party of 4 seated at a tiny table that couldn't hold all of our glasses and plates, they sat 2 parties of 3 at the booths next to us. They should rethink their seating arrangements. If I had know I would have gotten dinner to go and sat by the pool where there was plenty of room. Would not recommend, get the take out ice cream!
Pros:
Very cute, like an old fashion ice cream parlorCons:

I have issues with FP+, but I actually liked the Magic Bands. We found them to be very convenient. The kids could come and go from the room without having to track us down to get the key. We never had to carry cash as everything can be charged to the magic band. The Magic Band works very well with the FP+ readers in the parks. You can access your room, entry to parks, and use fastpasses with just a tap of the band. Purchases require a tap of the band and a 4-digit passcode.
Just a couple of issues we encountered;
1) If I had a dollar for every time I looked at the band thinking it was a watch, I could have paid for the trip. Maybe a future upgrade could include a cheap digital watch in the band?
2) We got really used to not carrying money - which became a problem. If you want to get a snack and use it as your snack in your meal plan - no problem. If you want to get something cheaper, like a bottle of water, the default is for that to be charged as a snack - not a good value, and a real pain if the cahier has to back the purchase out and charge it like a credit card on the band! Better to carry a little cash for small purchases where you don't want to use a meal plan snack credit. Same goes for tips - these aren't included in the meal plan.
Not sure what the procedure is if you lose the thing. We saw one on the Autopia track so it must happen all of the time. They get knocked off pretty easy if you are digging around in a bag.
Pros:
handy, convenient, somewhat stylishCons:

POFQ has been a resort that I have wanted to stay in for a long time and I am so happy that I got the chance. The resort is beautiful with lots of details everywhere you look. The staff was very helpful and made a point to go out of their way to make our stay even better. I liked the one bus stop and found that it was never crazy crowded and that he cast member, who was almost always there, kept everyone waiting in their appropriate lines. The room was clean, but it was starting to show some wear around the edges (spots on the carpet, pulls on the curtains) and Mousekeeping was superb. We liked the selection at the food court, especially the baked potato bar, but did walk over to Riverside a couple of enjoy the bigger selection there. My kids LOVED the pool and slide and it was never crowded. We also took advantage of roasting marshmallows our first night there, what a special experience! Overall I think this was a wonderful resort, but given the choice I think I would chose Riverside over French Quarter because it has slightly more to offer.

Have been coming to Disney Orlando for over twenty years and dining at Ohanas every time, sometimes twice per visit. Always enjoyed the service and the food, until our last visit in April 2015. The service was excellent as usual but the food suffered in quality. They now serve the dark meat of the chicken on the skewer rather than the thick white meat, which was the best. Also, noticed the shrimp on the skewer as being a bit smaller. We asked the manager, as the skewered chicken was stringy and chewy, and were told that Disney changed the chicken to dark meat as it was better "quality". We almost fell out of our chairs laughing as having been in the restaurant business for several decades, we know that the white meat is the better quality and more expensive but the manager stuck by that story. We were very disappointed in the quality of the food and unfortunately scratch Ohanas from our must do dining experience in the future. It seems that Disney is cutting back on its food quality as on our recent visits over the past two years, we have noticed a slip in the quality of food during our dining experiences. I would rather Disney raise the prices than drop the food quality.

Fish & chips are great. Always very hard to find a place to enjoy them. The limited seating area always seems to be blocked off when we are there.

We did not stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge this trip, but had to make at special trip over for lunch. We both love the Chicken Caesar Salad. The meat is seasoned perfectly, the croutons crunchy & tasty, and cheese & dressing delicious. It's a very big salad at a decent price.

The turkey and swiss on toasted sourdough bread was outstanding! The chocolate chaos for dessert was fantastic. Waiter very friendly and helpful. We returned and got the same meal as a carry-out. You had to order at the bar, and the bartender was not very interested in taking or delivering our order. Still, an excellent meal & outside seating is nice on the Boardwalk.

We enjoyed the delicious roast beef sandwich twice on our recent trip. There is a short wait while they toast it, but certainly worth it!

The chicken dinner: 1/2 rotis. chicken, crunchy green beans, & garlic mashed potatoes. It is a very good meal at a reasonable price.
