We ate here in December 2017 for the first time when visiting the resort to view Christmas decorations. The food court food is hot and fresh! I was pleasantly surprised that the chicken skewers were marinated and the grilled pineapple was very sweet. My husband got the curried seafood stew and enjoyed it. My son got the 7.00 hot dog meal, which was, a hot dog. I loved my chicken meal so much we went back a second time.

Pros:

Food, Quick

Cons:

Small Seating Area

Our group of three adults was seated next to the dancer's platform, which seemed a bit intimidating, but turned out to be extremely enjoyable. The band was talented and mostly faithful to Irish music.

I have never strayed from the chowder, which is always excellent. Portions are very generous. The Irish beer selections are great. Service is attentive and fun. All in all, a delightful evening.

Pros:

Good food, good fun

Review of Be Our Guest - Counter Service Breakfast

I was a little skeptical after reading reviews about the breakfast and tried all week to get lunch or dinner reservations. With it being Spring break, this was not possible, so we stuck with breakfast. I was impressed with the food and atmosphere. Maybe we got lucky, but the lines to enter the restaurant were not bad at all and while there was significant seating, there was none in the west wing when we first arrived. My husband was eventually able to score a table, but it was dirty and took a while for it to be cleaned. Aside from that, everything was a great experience. My husband and I both got the Croque Madame and is was excellent. It was hot, the egg was cooked nicely, and the portion was sufficient. My oldest daughter got the Croissant donut, which I had read was almost too sweet to eat. She said that it was good and not too sweet. I tried one of the bananas on it, and it was very good. My middle daughter got the child crepes. She said they were good, but the portion did seem a bit small to me. The pastries are a good addition to the meal b/c it supplemented any smaller portions and was also a good meal for my youngest daughter, who is 2. When the waiter brought our food, he initially placed 1 plate of pastries on our table. But when my husband asked for a second plate, he gladly gave it to us and it was the perfect amount for everyone. Although the pastries are pretty basic, they were still really good, especially the cinnamon bun. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the breakfast. Although it is a bit overpriced, the atmosphere was worth it.

Pros:

Great atmosphere, food was tasty

Cons:

Seating; price

Review of Jiko - The Cooking Place - Jambo House

Went to Jiko for my wife's 40th birthday. What a treat! Not only did we get an excellent location (without asking or letting anyone know we were there for an occasion) we were treated to a perfect meal. The food was great, the wine was great, the staff was even better. They did a great job letting us spend some time enjoying our meal and each other but also provided great service and a special experience for my wife. The staff even hand wrote a personalized birthday card for her and brought her (free) dessert, capping off a wonderful evening.

Pros:

The food was delicious and the staff were unreal

Visited Jock Lindsey's after a late flight from Chicago on March 23rd. We sat out back and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. My husband and I shared the Sankara Stones and Barrels (tator tots and cheese curds)and Doctor Astorga's Queso Fundido (chips and queso). Both were delicious. For drinks, I had Reggie's Revenge and my husband had their version of an old fashioned with a chocolate ganache on top. YUM! We will definitely be back in October, as this place is a must do!!!

We love the Jungle Cruise and were excited to visit this restaurant. The staff offered laughs and great service. The food was excellent. The kids are somewhat picky, but were happy to see some standard items on the menu. My oldest and youngest got macaroni and cheese and were able to substitute the broccoli for french fries. My middle daughter ordered the chicken noodle soup and thought it was excellent. They all got the volcano cake as their dessert and it looked fun and delicious to eat. My husband and I got the cachapas as an appetizer and they were so delicious. I got the "Tastes like chicken" entree and it was really good--just the right amount of spicy and the portion was big. My husband got the Char Siu Pork and when our plates arrived, he wished he had gotten the chicken. However, the pork was delicious and was also a big portion. We split the plates and were able to enjoy both. Overall, this was an excellent experience and the only negative was the amount of time it took to get the check. If we hadn't been trying to make it to the fireworks though, I doubt we would have even noticed. Great restaurant!

Pros:

Great service, food, and atmosphere; text when table is ready, so you can leave waiting area

Cons:

We were there a long time

I have now had dinner here twice and brunch here once, with 2 more reservations coming up in June and October. This place is the best for a first class meal and top shelf wine and cocktails. Firework viewing after dinner is also a huge plus!!!
