This is my favorite mode of transportation I have EVER been on. First of all y'all, I am TERRIFIED OF HEIGHTS!! And my husband warned me that I might be scared but there weren't any buses going to EPCOT for 30 minutes and we had a FastPass for Living with the Land that we can't miss, and before y'all say that I could've taken a car, that wouldn't work because we flew here from our ranch in Montana and took an Uber to our resort. But we couldn't take an Uber this time because we were on a budget!
Anyways long story but we made it to the Skyliner no matter how much I didn't want to go. We boarded and I was shaking of fear even though I was very happy they could fit all 5 of our beautiful boys. Anyways we had started moving and I was biting my nails. But the second we went up in the air I thought of a song by a legendary woman, who has donated to every city, who has illuminated lives including mine, who should've been born with wings, I thought about TRUSTFALL BY P!NK MY FAVORITE SONG ON THIS ENTIRE EARTH. The song is about just going for it and that was exactly what I was doing in that moment. My husband just grinned!
We landed and I was sad to get off! It was such an amazing ride! Now even if we shouldn't, we will always go on the Skyliner and have an amazing time as a family. And this is my sign onto you. To face your fears and believe in your self. Because, It's a trustfall Mickey.
Now everyone, keep calm and Disney on have an amazing day!!!

I have stayed here several times and have enjoyed it but it ultimately doesn’t compare to the other resorts. Every time, I get a room that has a perfume-y scent, almost as if it’s covering up a smoke odor— making it very hard to sleep. I believe they’re refurbishing the rooms which is well-needed because the rooms are outdated. You can’t go wrong with their solid food court with good options for all ages, though! Their gift shop is also huge and has so many things you can’t find at other shops.
The main pool near the lobby has fun theming but we had to hunt down a seat and be mindful of how many chairs we were using. We didn’t get to really relax at the pool because of it.
Otherwise if you’re just looking for a place to sleep and won’t be at the resort much, this is a solid affordable option! It’s my least favorite resort and I don’t think I’ll be staying there again though.
Pros:
- Offers a boat to Disney Springs - Bus Transportation is mostly reliable but has quite a few stops once at the resort - Rooms become ready relatively quickly - Fun room theming for royal rooms - High quality food court and gift shop - Lots of pools and a large main poolCons:
- Such a far walk to everything (bus stops, pools, lobby) - Odd smell in some rooms - Buildings in Aligator Bayou (5th sleeper rooms) do NOT have an elevator - Furthest resort from Disney Springs on the boat route - Main pool has limited seating - In-room TVs are tinyReview of Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria

I waited a few days to write this post to see if I would feel better about our experience later, but alas, NO. We booked a holiday dinner at Storytellers Cafe mostly to see the Scrooge characters and to sit down for a bit after a busy day at California Adventure. For 3 of us, the total bill was over $400, which is ridiculous for a buffet where you have to wait in a super long line to choose your food that is mediocre and cold by the time you get back to your table. The dinner felt like food we could have bought at Costco. Nothing special. We waited 2 hours for the characters to make it to our table. Mickey NEVER came. People would come up to him from other parts of the restaurant, probably because he didn’t make it to their table either, and then he’d go back to the section he had already been to. Was this ADHD Mickey? Goofy was great, he would keep coming back, probably because he noticed our section was being left out. So kudos to Googy (Ghost of Christmas Past!)
Pros:

I know it was my own fault for not do more research, however DO NOT pick sci-fi for your fantasmic meal. I spent $120 for a cheeseburger and a salad. And the seats for fantasmic was nothing special.

It was over so quickly. And boring. The descriptions all say how it takes you "through the dark forest". Well, the Epic Universe landscaping is still growing in somewhat. Kind of bare out there as far as plants & trees. Let alone a forest. But that’s neither here nor there. The ride itself barely does anything. The queue is more thematic and exciting than the ride. Maybe I wasn’t paying attention but somehow I missed the giant werewolf!! Haha. But it’s a spinning coaster, sure; that’s the attraction, I guess. It’s just that the actual layout is so lackluster, I can’t justify waiting in any size line for it. It goes around a few times, back and forth on the layout, blah blah blah. Then it ends with a random dark ride sort of section, where you’re just looking at the remnants of a circus dressing room…? Not sure what exactly that was. The werewolf ate everyone there or something? Or everyone became werewolves and left?
