I visited WDW in late-October and stayed at Beach Club Villas. The location made it easy for me to walk over to The Cake Bake Shop and enjoy two meals here. This is going to be a combined review of two nice meals. My friend and I enjoyed lunch here. We had a super nice and funny cast mate wait on us and she shared a lot of menu info and a lot of opinions which we appreciated. My friend enjoyed her Cobb Salad and it was a beautiful salad. I'd like to try it on a future visit. I ordered the burger because to me a good burger is a thing of joy. I thought the $3 additional charge for a slice of cheese was a bit much (for a $28 burger) but ... The burger was good and I liked the sauce on it. We topped off our lunch with cake slices-Red Velvet for her and Raspberry for me. Both delicious and both of us took some back to our hotels in doggie bags for a second dessert for tomorrow. I rated our lunch at 8. Three days later I turned for breakfast and I enjoyed this meal the most (I'm rating my dinner here in October as #2 and my lunch as #3). The orange French toast and sausage were delicious as was the cappuccino. Can't wait to come back for breakfast I October. Another great cast member took care on me, informative and attentive. A great experience. A special place to dine. And the Pink lady margarita is so good!
Pros:
I think Breakfast was the best value price-wise. The place was beautifully decorated for fall. The bakery next door had wonderful offerings to take away if you don't want a sit-down meal.Cons:
No cons-I acquaint myself with the menus before I make my reservations so I know what to expect cost-wise.Review of Wine Bar George

Best burger I've had at WDW!
Pros:
The smash burger and a Freaujolais made for a delicious lunch. I hope they keep the burger on the menu. This restaurant is always good and I have never been disappointed whether I'm eating brunch, lunch or dinner.Cons:

It's always fun to try someplace new.
Pros:
It was fun taking the elevator up to the lounge. It's a pretty place. The margarita was vey good and reasonably priced. The food being served around me looked good. It was a nice place to start off an Epcot evening.Cons:
It wasn't quite what I expected but nice enough to visit again if I am with someone who hasn't been there before.Review of Kringla Bakeri og Cafe

Dined here twice during my October vacation!
Pros:
My first day's carciofi pizza was so good, as usual. Lots of artichokes. Great drinks and good service. My last day's shrimp fettuccini was creamy and delicious. I love ending my meals here with a cappucino. The cast members here are always so nice and happy to talk about "home" and working at Disney. I have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed.Cons:

What a fun place!
Pros:
Delicious margarita and the corn cake with chicken was very tasty (it had a kick). Food price was very reasonable. The waiters at the bar were so entertaining and funny! The decor is terrific. Everyone seemed to be having a fun time. I'm coming back here in April.Cons:

The cream filled croissant is so good!
Pros:
Delicious pastry, large enough to share or keep it all to yourself! Reasonable price and worth every cent. It was nice to sit at a table in the tavern and enjoy my afternoon snack and drink.Cons:
Not enough seating-I shared my table with two other ladies.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 01/08/2026

My family of 4 loved this resort. We were two adults, a 16 year old girl and a 14 year old boy. We loved the small size of the resort and how close everything was together. The bus stop and main building with quick service were close by, as was the pool. After a long park day, it was so welcome! We enjoyed the food at the good court as well. Of course, the beignets were a fabulous bonus. The theming is subtle and relaxing- just what we wanted.Having only bus transportation to the parks was not an issue for us at all. I would definitely return or recommend!
Pros:
Clean, beautiful, small size, friendly cast members, fun pool, good food courtCons:
Only bus transportation, but that didn't bother us, little kids might prefer more bold Disney decorReview of The Beak and Barrel

this was well done and a ton o fun.
we had the island provision (chips and various dips) really enjoyed this
drinks were good (understood that they are premade).
the background activity in the bar was fun
we did not feel rushed waiter was quick had two drinks could have used a few more chips.
Would love to get off pirates ride right into the bar
note some are tables where you sit with other people - but your all Pirates!
