There were five of us and we were on the dinning plan. Since we were also going to the park that shall not be named we were able to use the extra credits. Diana and I decided to do surf and turf. Lobster and prime rib. My husband kevin did the ribeye but felt her should have done the prime rib. Our friends Ollie and her mom Mary had the filet Since we were at the club level at Wilderness we decided no to have apps. The prime rib was nicely seasoned and the lobster which I had stream I believe was Maine but not sure. It wasn't chewy like Caribbean the table had the truffled mac and cheese and carmelized onions that Mary wished she could store in her suitcase. Everyone except me had the creme brulet I had the lime semifeddo

Review of Walt Disney World Swan (Deluxe Resort)

I stayed at the Walt Disney World Swan for FREE thanks to my Travelpointology Plans at Travelpointology.com. I stayed for 6 nights with my daughter in a two queen room that was beautiful. We walked to Epcot, took a boat to Hollywood studios, ate at the boardwalk bakery. I cannot say enough about this hotel. The price was definitely right but even if I paid, I would stay there again!

Pros:

the location is amazing, newly renovated

Review of All Star Music Resort (Value Resort)

When my wife and I arrived at the All Star Music Resort Via the Magical express from MCO our room wasn’t quite ready so we left our luggage with the luggage handler’s desk at the front of the hotel. They asked what we were celebrating and we told them it was our 35th wedding anniversary. We walked around to check the hotel grounds out, then went into the gift shop there and just started talking to one of the employees in the gift shop. About that time I got a text and told the young man, Danny, that our room was ready, so he said to come back by and visit with him after we got settled in. We received an upgrade to a preferred room along with a picture frame and a box of chocolates. We had a king-sized bed and a very clean very nice room on the 1st floor close to the pool and the lobby . The note that came with the picture frame was from Kristin who is the general manager at the All Star Music Resort. It was a Thank You for celebrating our 35th Wedding Anniversary with them.
It was super nice for her to do this.

After looking around at Disney Springs we went back to the hotel. We walked back through the gift shop and Danny spotted us and asked us what we did that evening. He talked to us and called us by our names every time he saw us. Then he would always ask what we had planned for the next day.

The 3rd night we spent there we had been out all day hotel hopping via bus, boats and monorail. We got back to our room and there was a gift bag from Danny at the gift shop that had chocolates, note pads, a plush Mickey Mouse, pens and a few other items with a note from Danny saying, “Thank you for being such wonderful and inspirational guests.” That was another very nice thing for us that happened at this so called Value resort that shouldn’t be branded that because of the top notch people that work there. We have stayed on Disney property many times and have paid much more to stay and have always been treated well, but never anything like this trip.
We had purchased many items in the 5 days we were there from the gift shop.
After the second or 3rd trip in the gift shop we met Gayle, Marquel and Ashlyn. These people were amazing, remembering our names and being so polite the whole time we were there.
Just a great bunch of people all in all and delightful to talk to. I wish them all the best future and hope to see them all soon. Keep up the good work and thanks for making this the best trip ever for our anniversary.

Sincerely,

Danny & Natalie

Review of Paradise Garden Grill

I am rating this a 1 to offset the earlier reviews, which no longer apply.
PGG used to have the best quick service food in the park. They are no longer the same restaurant, and really should have changed their name to reflect that. Now they're basically just a replacement for Corn Dog Castle, and if that's what you want, I suppose you'll be happy enough.
I'm devastated to loose what was our favorite quick service restaurant in the Anaheim Disney Resort area. What they have replaced it with is not healthy, interesting, or unique. This change was a big mistake.

This was our first visit to the renovated space, and we weren't very impressed. Too many tables forced one of a couple to have their back to the windows, instead of the tables for two being parallel to the wall of windows so both people can see out. The bartender brought us the wrong wine-by-the-glass. The menu is shorter and seems narrow; I wish there would have been a wider array of choices.

Pros:

Good food, wine selection

Cons:

Bleh decor, price

This is my first visit to a PH, and the space is interesting and the sing-alongs are fun, but the tables are crowded very close together and you can't have a conversation with your dinner companions. The ribs are delicious, but they don't offer a half-rack. The fries are overly-spiced. The salmon also is really good. Be sure to ask what the special seasonal draft beers are, since they were from local craft breweries they night we were there. Otherwise, the beer and wine choices are pretty mundane.

Pros:

Fun

Cons:

Extremely noisy

Best watermelon and tomato salad ever!!!! The pork shoulder was very good, just fatty enough for lots of flavor. There are four different sauces, and my husband and I liked different ones, so be sure to try a bit of all of them before you decide. However, the machine that dispenses them was broken the day we were there, and we had to get them out of a bottle instead. We were so full, we didn't have room for dessert, unfortunately. I'm looking forward to visiting again.

Pros:

Tasty meat and sides

Review of Boardwalk Villas (Disney Vacation Club)

My family recently stayed at the Boardwalk Villas. We requested a room close to the elevator or lobby and got neither. As we stay here each year that was disappointing. The walk to our room felt like a mile. Mousekeeping was also not up to par. One day they did not do the room at all and the other days came late in the day when we come back for our afternoon breaks. Overall though this is our favorite resort and mostly have great time there. Its very beautiful especially at night.

Pros:

Location

Review of Garden Grocer

We purchased a 12 pack of Angry Orchard and a 12 pack of Miller Lite, and a case of water for our room. The items were priced reasonably in comparison with our local grocery store. Even with the $14 delivery fee we still came out a lot cheaper than if were to buy these items separately at the resort/parks. I really wish that the resort would have put the items in a refrigerator, but I am sure their space is limited and they use it for items that HAVE to be refrigerated. We did have to call down to bell service for our items and they delivered before we got back from the park that night. So I would encourage to call as soon as you get your room assignment. I would definitely use Garden Grocer again!

Pros:

Convenient, Cheaper than buying items through resort

Cons:

Wish the beer/water was already cold when it finally got to our room
