Very pleased with newly remodeled rooms. We stayed in Ranchos which is total opposite from main lobby/restaurants, so hardly went to restaurant. However, the main pool serves breakfast and do refillable mugs (no one told us when we purchased the mugs, nor did anyone tell us or advertise that in order to get to the pool food area, need to walk all around near the volleyball area -- first day I went all the way to the main area to fill the mugs -- way too far). For some weird reason, the main pool closed really early 9 pm in May. We often would like to swim after the parks. The quiet pools were open, but no towels available at all. The resort is under construction and building big tower for conventions. That will obstruct the view and stick out like a sore thumb like the Swan and Dolphin, so not sure how that will look. However, getting the "convention" people to separate area would be great b/c at night they are partying at outside bar and regular guests cannot even get close to that area -- way too crowded.

This was our second time for dinner at Be Our Guest and it did not disappoint. From the appetizers to the dessert cart (the grey stuff really is delicious) our food and service was amazing. This time we were seated in the dining room to the right that houses a large music box of Belle and the Beast. The only draw back here is even with a reservation you are going to be waiting. We were probably 20 minutes past our reservation time when we were seated, which isn't bad but just be prepared. We'll be back for sure!

I enjoyed Skipper Canteen, but for my less adventurous family members the food left something to be desired. The wait staff is hilarious and the corny jokes from the Jungle Cruise ride are a mainstay at this restaurant. We were on the dining plan and this was new which was why I chose this as one of our options, but if we weren't on the dining plan it wouldn't have been an option. I enjoyed it, but if your party is not made up of foodies that are willing to try new things its probably not the place for you!

We had breakfast here our last trip and were not impressed with the use of 2 dining credits. This trip we decided that dinner was going to be our best bet and we were not disappointed. The princesses were wonderful and took their time with our minis to allow great photos and interactions. The atmosphere is amazing, because, well it's the castle! The food for dinner is much better than breakfast and we felt like the 2 credits were worth what was spent on this meal. The steak, pot roast, and seafood dish are amazing! Each of us got a different dessert and shared and they were all delicious. If you have the option dinner is a must here!

We tried to branch out a little more on this trip and try some restaurants we had not been to in the world before. I think we can leave Liberty Tree Tavern behind next trip. The food was decent, we all ordered burgers, the service was good, but the atmosphere was just kind of blah. There are other options that we skipped out on to try this restaurant and we regretted it.

This is a must do meal for us and will be a character breakfast we do even when we are old and gray. The buffet is delicious and the character interactions are wonderful! If you are a Pooh and friends fan this is a must do for you!

Our previous trip to Tusker house was kind of blah, so we were not looking forward to this meal. But the options in AK are limited so we opted for a character breakfast here. It was amazing!! The tables were not as close together as they had been on our previous trip and the food was delicious and plentiful. We never had to ask for more drinks as our waiter kept our cups filled and the characters took their time with us and interacted well with the kids. This was one of the highlights of our trip!

Let me start with we are not AK fans, but members of our group had never been before so we opted to go for half a day. I reserved lunch at Yak and Yeti because of the reviews and the menu sounded amazing. It was incredible!! We were seated within 5 mins of our reservation time and had a window seat that allowed us to people watch while we ate. The food was plentiful and delicious and even our 6 year old cleaned her plate! If we go back to AK on our next trip we will definitely eat here!

Probably the most perfectly cooked scallops I've had anywhere! The food is seasoned very well, with a unique take on spices that was very appealing. The appetizers were really good, especially the signature bread service and the lobster curry soup. The service was amazing. Our waitress was very attentive, but not overbearing, AND she was really great at pairing wines with our meals. The restaurant itself it beautiful, and worth visiting even if you only spend a little time in the lounge to take in the artwork.
