DH and I ate here on March 9, 2017. We aren't the adventurous type when it comes to food. Me a little more than DH. So we took a risk eating here. We did OK. I had the Nile Nellie's noodle bowl with chicken. Wasn't quite what I thought it would be. It was basically a big bowl of soup. It tasted fine and filled me up. DH got Skip's beefy baked pasta. It was similar to lasagna in the way it was layered. DH said it was good. However, this isn't a place on our must do list. It's a fairly new restaurant and we are glad we tried it.

DH and I ate here on March 8, 2017. We both got the sampling of mom's favorite recipes. All was very good as well at the service. Our waitress did just the right amount of discipline for a middle aged couple, lol. It was our second time eating there and was just as good as the last time in 2011.

DH and I ate here on March 10, 2017. It was our second time visiting here and enjoyed it very much both times. We were seated with a very chatty woman and her young daughter. We knew the seating was in groups beforehand so this wasn't a shock. All the food was great and the entertainment fun as usual. Service was great as well. It can be hard to hear the waitress or your dining partners during the performances though.

This was the second visit for DH and I during this event. And we loved it just as much this time as last. We didn't spend as much time finding the topairies as last year as most of them were the same. The flowers are all gorgeous though and I snagged a passholder t shirt. Highly recommend a visit during this festival.

Love this feature of our annual passes. It's so nice to get pictures of DH and I without having to bug people to take them for us. Plus the locations the photographers are in are prime locations. They will take pictures with your own camera as well if you'd like. We usually just print the ones they take with their cameras.
Pros:
Able to get pictures of both of usCons:

We stayed at All Star Movies February 27-March 10, 2017. Most of the time the buses were excellent. It seems the only problems occurred with buses to and from Epcot. One day in the afternoon when heading back to our resort, from the time we got in line at Epcot to the time we arrived at our resort, was 2 hours!!! The line was so long not everyone got on the first bus. Plus the bus was shared with ASS and ASMu. These resorts are too busy to share buses. Another time we waited in the morning for over an hour for a bus. The third time was heading back early evening for dinner reservations. We ended up being 15-20 minutes late but got lucky and was seated anyway. Not sure if this is normal for this resort or not but it's a big reason why we won't stay there again.

My mom and I split the entrée Cobb salad and a filet - this was the perfect amount of food for each of us. As always, the salad was amazing, and the filet was very good. My dad had the lamb two ways, mainly because he wanted the chop; he didn't care much for the lamb belly (but we didn't think he would). For dessert we did two of the sampler trios - one with 2 crème brulee and 1 grapefruit cake, and one with 1 crème brulee and 2 grapefruit cake - so each of us was able to have our two favorites. I just wish they would offer a full size portion of the cake like they do at the lounge outside.
Pros:
Wonderful server; the Cobb salad; the grapefruit cakeCons:

This was my mom's favorite meal of the trip - they had a lunch special of chicken scallopine in marsala sauce and cheese tortellini, and she couldn't stop raving about it. She said the tortellini melted in her mouth; I had a taste of the chicken and it was very good. My dad and I had the spaghetti and meatballs, and we probably could have split this - it was that much food. For dessert, I had the tiramisu, which was great, and my mom had the gelato trio, which she also liked (dad skipped dessert here). We also split a bottle of wine that was very good - I'm a Cab/Merlot girl, but this was a Sangiovese blend that the sommelier recommended and it matched really well with the spaghetti.

This has become an annual must-do for us. My dad and I each had the filet with the sauce on the side. The filet tasted great, but the green beans that were served with it were overcooked/wilted - normally they are very fresh and tasty, but not this time. My mom had the braised beef ribs and loved them. We skipped dessert this time because we were too full.
Pros:
Loved the filet and braised short ribs; excellent serviceCons:

This was our second time having lunch here. Last year, I really liked the steak tacos, but this year, they were more like mini steak fajitas - still good, but not quite what I was expecting. My dad had the same thing I did, and he said they were pretty good. My mom had the chicken enchiladas and liked them as well. She also had the blood orange margarita which was really good. The surprising thing was that we weren't offered a dessert menu here.
While the tables are pretty close together, we were able to get my mom's wheelchair to the table without any issues. We were one row in from the "waterfront" tables, so the aisle between the tables was a little wider than the other aisles, so that helped.
