My mother, son and I decided to give this place try while the rest of our party golfed. We had a classic cheeseburger, BBQ classic, and a bacon and bleu. I have celiac and the burger was put on a gluten free roll. First I have to say these burgers were HUGE. The only one to finish was my 18 year old son. My mother knew from the get go that it was too much and cut hers in half to take some home. The burgers were cooked correctly, two mediums and a medium rare. The French fries were good too. The only down side to this place other than being quote costly, is the seating. It was like a full contact sport. It didn't help that there was a private event going on so whole room of seating was being taken up by a small group. We were lucky and got a table fairly quickly, but were stalked the whole time we ate.

We've stayed at POFQ about 10 times now and we love it. From the moment we enter the port cochere, and then hear the lobby fountain, we feel welcomed and at home.
This time, I was thrilled to receive my "room ready" text at 7AM while on the Magical Express after an overnight flight from Seattle. It was so great to be able to skip the front desk and go right to the room to get changed and ready for Magic Kingdom.
My only complaint about the resort is the food court. I have always loved the food court and the new renovations look great. But, the wait for food was consistenly lengthy. Over 20 minutes for pasta, pizza, and a chicken sandwich-on 3 separate occasions. There is nowhere to wait in the small area, especially with the new drink coolers in there. Perhaps more of the stations could use the "buzzers" so we would not have to wait and cluster around the windows to hear our names. I also noticed changes to some of my favorite items: the po'boys have a different sauce and the bread is harder. The jambalaya isn't as tasty, and the whole wheat croissant on the breakfast sandwich was not good.
One more small complaint-Riverside's cheesecake is far superior!

The food here was delicious. My dad, a very picky meat-eater, said the pot roast was his favorite food of the entire week. The salad, green beans, rolls, new addition of potato salad, stuffing, and mashed potatoes were delicious as well. The dessert was absolutely perfect. Crisp and sweet, with the right amount of berries and whipped cream.
The character interaction was plentiful and not rushed. My son loved getting to see the characters multiple times.
We love how the restaurant rotates and we get new scenery every few minutes.
My one complaint is that we checked in about 5-10 minutes early, and still had to wait 25 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. When seated, our waiter was extremely rushed and overwhelmed. Dinner took over 90 minutes. Just getting and paying the check turned into a huge, lenghty ordeal and we asked for it early. We missed Illuminations because of this. We will definitely be back but will try for an earlier ADR.

Just popped in for a few drinks and snacks Friday, June 2nd. I found the offerings to be minimal for a quick service eatery.

My daughter is vegan and was very excited to try the treats here. My other daughter and I accompanied her and got onion bread and a snickerdoodle cookie. Vegan daughter got the soft serve ice cream. None of us liked the cookie and the onion bread and ice cream were just OK. There is a big difference between vegan and gluten free. I think this bakery is great for those with gluten intolerance, but otherwise I'd avoid it.

The food was great but I really have to praise the service. My niece became very ill while at the restaurant and the manager and custodial staff were wonderful. I especially appreciated the fantastic service of our waitress Sandrine.

I stayed at SSR for 1 night, June 2-3, for a quick trip to Disney Springs with my 17 year old daughter, my sister, and my 1 year old niece. We chose SSR for its proximity to Disney Springs, because we had planned on spending our time there shopping and eating. Unfortunately, we were put in the Carousel section, which is the furthest away from Disney Springs. At one point, we waited over 20 minutes for an internal bus, finally giving up and making the long walk back to our room...
The resort itself is beautiful, but lacks that Disney feel. Our room was ready at our 1030 am check in, and had a gorgeous view of a pond with a fountain and a "carousel."
The room was clean and spacious.
I don't feel like I will stay here again. It's a one and done for me. There are other properties that I find better fit me...

The restaurant is beautiful and we were seated on the patio which was nice because we got a good nighttime view of Disney springs and the folks walking around. Our dinner experience wasn't quite so nice mainly because of our server who encouraged us to order more food (and spend more $$) than I felt that I should have in the end. He told us main dishes would take awhile to come out so we should order appetizers. We got Miso soup and it showed upright before the main dish. He also said meat dishes were not big enough to share like the rice and noodle dishes which didn't turn out to be the case. So in the end we left a lot of food on the table and I felt bad that I ordered so much. My daughter got sushi which was good, but other dishes were just OK and nothing better than my local Chinese restaurant. Next time I think we'll just do the street food.

We did Sunday brunch here mainly because we heard the restaurant would accommodate vegans like my older daughter. My youngest daughter and I ate off of the buffet and it was really, really good. They have traditional breakfast food and lunch items including freshly carved meats. I stuck to breakfast items and had more food than I could eat. Baked goods like corn muffins pushed me over the edge. Our server was friendly and attentive. He talked to the chef and brought out a special tofu and vegetable dish for my vegan daughter which was flavorful and made her day. Fantastic experience all around!

This is our favorite place to eat in Epcot. We love the vegetarian plate. Falafel is awesome. This time around we got our food in the evening and sat outside and listened to the band playing outside. One of the best experiences on our trip. Highly recommended!
