We requested an outside table, and were in a little alcove on the middle tier, right off the beer garden/patio area. It was too tight of a fit for my mom to stay in her wheelchair, but once we got her seated, we were able to park the chair just outside the rope at the bottom of the walkway to the beer garden - out of everyone's way. I had the strip steak with green beans and Yorkshire pudding, and it was very good. My dad had the corned beef and cabbage, which is one of his favorites, and mom had the fish and chips. She really loved her meal - said the batter was just enough, the fish was nice and flaky, and it tasted great. For dessert I had the trifle, which is always great (strawberries, custard, and whipped cream - what's not to like???), and my mom had the sticky toffee pudding, which she liked, but said was a little too sweet for her.

After many years of "we should try this", we finally pulled the trigger this trip. Brandon was our server, and he was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine selections. He recommended the Frog's Leap zinfandel, which was great on it's own, but paired with the filet took it up another notch! All three of us had the filets; dad and I had the potato gratin and mom had the green beans and carrots. My filet was melt-in-your-mouth tender - I've only had one other filet I could say that about, and that was at a local restaurant that was featured on Diners Drive-ins and Dives on the Food Network). For dessert, I had the chocolate peanut butter cake, and it was excellent; mom had the Yachtman's Sundae which she also enjoyed.

I date this a 10 for the atmosphere. The music room is beautiful and definitely quieter. Our food arrived quickly (preordered). I took off for the food. It was tasty but DD and I ordered the open faced poached egg and bacon sandwich. The eggs were cooked way too long. They were hard boiled. A small thing but noteworthy.

My wife and I have eaten several times at the Rose and Crown and always found the service and food to be excellent.
The last time we ate there my wife had the Potato Leek soup and I had the Scotch Egg for starters and they were both very good. Then we had the Shepherd's Pie which is excellent. For desert my wife had the warm fruit crumble which she said was very good.

The Main Street Bakery used to be our first stop when we entered The Magic Kingdom, but no more. The quality is really poor and that is reflected in the reviews.
My wish is that Disney would bring back the original bakery.

This was my first time at CG. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and at ease. Our waiter was attentive and had recommendations that were spot on. My salad bar tomato meringue which may sound weird but was delicious. This was hands down one of the best salads I have ever had. I could eat this every day for the rest of my life and be happy. The beef filet and risotto likewise tasty. My daughter had sushi and goat cheese ravioli and was very pleased. It was busy but no one was disruptive.

We were a family of 3 staying in a studio for the 2017 Star Wars/Darkside Race, and the week after. This was our first time staying at Poly (we've been dying to stay here for years!) and we loved it. We were in the Tokelau building, so it was easy to catch the monorail to Epcot at TTC (about a 5-minute walk from our room), or it was a short walk to the main building to catch the monorail to Magic Kingdom. We loved the separate bathtub/shower. Made getting ready in the morning easier and quicker. Our 10-year-old son liked the pull-down bed beneath the TV, which saved a lot of space since we didn't have to pull out the sleeper sofa. As far as drawer space, you have the two drawers under the bed and a closet. I was able to fit in 8+ days' worth of clothing into one drawer, and our son used the other drawer. My wife used the closet for her clothing, so we found "clothing storage" to be adequate. It might be a little more tight during winter season with bulkier clothes.
As for a couple negatives... The monorail between Epcot and TTC broke down a couple times during our stay. Once, we had to catch a bus from Epcot to TTC after waiting about 20 minutes on the monorail (apparently the other monorail on the track broke down). The rooms aren't exactly soundproof, but this was something extremely minor with us. You can hear families out in the hallway talking and laughing (but hey, it's Disney!), and I could have done without the leaf blower at 7 a.m. right outside our room (we were ground floor).
Would love to stay here again if we can manage it!

We stayed 7 nights in early May and we absolutely loved this resort! We were a group of 9 in 4 rooms. All were standard view, 3 on one side of the hall and one on the other. Every room had a wonderful view with plenty of animals! I really did not expect to see animals from our standard view balcony! Wonderful! We ate several times at Mara and one dinner at Jiko. Fantastic. The pool was lovely and our 4 year old daughter absolutely loved it, especially the slide. Lots of fun happenings in the lobby in the evenings for my daughter as well. We did opt to get Ubers or taxis for some of our trips to the parks as we didn't want to wait for the buses. Most times the buses were pretty quick but there were one or two times when the wait seemed too long. Location would be my only complaint and even that is just a small complaint. I would stay here again for sure and I highly recommend it!!

We visited Jock Lindsey's for lunch late February. There was a nice breeze so we decided to eat outside. It was fun watching the aqua-cars launch from next door. The server was very friendly and helped with our drink and food selections. I recommend the Tuna Tacos and Pork Belly Sliders. Drinks were also very good. I would recommend the Scottish Professor- a whiskey and gin cocktail. The inside has some great theming that you should appreciate for sure. However, I would recommend sitting outside for the great views.
