My favorite place to eat in Hollywood Studios! Its like your mom was back in the kitchen cooking your favorite meal, just the way you like it. This restaurant is such an experience!

Pros:

Fun and inviting

Crowded when you first walk in

Review of All Star Movies Resort (Value Resort)

I stayed from April 29-May 8 of 2013. This resort is great for people who just need a place to stay and sleep. It's not a lavish hotel but it definitely has Disney written all over it. Our room was clean upon entry and clean everyday until we left. No problems with check-in and no problems with check-out. It is just an average resort. We only had breakfast there and that was just okay. We would try to grab and go as often as we could. The pool was never very crowded. The buses never seemed to be on a schedule, they would just show up whenever. On some days two buses for Hollywood Studios would show up within 5 minutes of each other but the Magic Kingdom bus would be 40 minutes apart. I love Walt Disney World and would stay here again for the price and accommodations, but wouldn't mind upgrading to a nicer hotel.

Pros:

Cheap,fun

Cons:

Buses and food choice

Review of Raglan Road

We dined here on Monday December 9, 2013, for the very first time. I'd been reading many reviews of the food before our trip and so we decided based on that to try it. I wish we hadn't. The food was pretty good, but I didn't appreciate, or enjoy the entertainment. We were seated early, almost 45 minutes before our scheduled reservation time, which was a bonus. But, we were seated by the platform in the middle of the main dining area and during our dinner, and it felt almost like we had someone dancing on our own table. Dust, dirt and wood was flying around and dropping off the platform right onto our table while we ate, and I have no idea why we were seated there to begin with, we practically had the entire restaurant to ourselves! I'm no prude, but I really don't want to look up at someone's butt while I am eating my food, and between the girl's short skirt, and the guy dancing, I really was left with no choice but to look away.
The place was fantastic, visually. I loved the decor and overall look.
The food, it was okay. DH ordered Mammy's roast chicken and he didn't really care for it. I can't say that I blame him, it was seriously overcooked and he didn't care for the sauce. My dinner was Kevin's Heavenly Ham and I loved the raisin jus that came with it, for without it I'm afraid the ham would have been terrible. The colcannon potatoes were a delight and we both enjoyed the bread and Guiness reduction sauce.
All in all I would have to say we probably won't be going back to Raglan Road, ever again.

Pros:

Price, portions, visual

Cons:

Noise, entertainment

We stopped in here for a quick service lunch on 12/08. We were not happy with quality of the food or the service. Everything was dry, very bland and tasteless. Our server was the rudest CM we've ever encountered at Disney. The eating area is tiny and seating is very limited.

Pros:

Line moved quickly

Cons:

We ate dinner here for the first time during our recent vacation (12/04). The restaurant is breathtakingly beautiful. The attention to detail is amazing. We had an amazing server, Jana, and we can't say enough good things about her. Despite the beauty & the wonderful service, the food is very disappointing. Everything we tried, steak & seafood, was over done and tasteless. The one bright spot of the meal is their desserts. They were all fresh and delicious. We were all looking forward to trying this restaurant and we all came away disappointed.

Pros:

Beautiful, Service

Cons:

Food (except dessert)

We had the opportunity to eat here during our recent vacation. There were four of us dining and we all ordered different things. Our DD got the fried shrimp and was dreadfully ill the rest of the evening. The rest of us liked what we ordered but didn't find the food anything spectacular. Our biggest complaint was the lack of attention we were given by our server. We had to ask repeatedly for water and condiments for our meal. The restaurant is quite large and always very busy and our server just couldn't keep up with her tables.

Pros:

Fun Atmosphere

Cons:

Service

We stayed at OKW from 11/29 - 12/09. This resort is absolutely beautiful. The landscaping and architecture of the buildings was gorgeous. As lovely as the grounds were, the CM working there were twice as lovely. Everyone we met, from every department, were pleasant and eager to please. Bell Services deserve special recognition because they have the unenviable task of delivering luggage to the third story of the buildings without the use of elevators.

The only reason I didn't give this resort a higher score was because our two bedroom villa wasn't as clean as it could have been. All of the air return vents were caked with dust & our shower was covered in mildew. I cleaned everything myself but really shouldn't of had to.

The resort is very large and getting around the grounds can be inconvenient, especially first thing in the AM. There are only two places (that we could find) to fill the refillable mugs and neither were convenient to our room location.

Despite it's few flaws, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend OKW to anyone. The rooms are huge and our stay was very enjoyable.

Pros:

Beautiful

Cons:

Large

Review of Tutto Italia Restaurant - Italy

We (me and DH) ate here on December 7, 2013 as part of the candlelight processional. This was our first time eating at Tutto Italia, and we'd both been wanting to try it for a very long while.
I know that the price was a lot more seeing as how we were on the processional package, and aside from that I have 0 complaints!

When we first arrived, we were extremely early (nearly an hour) and we were not turned away. They seated us very quickly, and were happy to do so. Our server was pleasant and even though he had a thick Italian accent, you could clearly understand his every word. He was very attentive and that is something I adore.

We were given a quick description on how the processional dinner package works and asked what we'd like to drink, and for our appetizer choice. I chose the Prosciutto Di Parma, which is thinly sliced/shaved Parma ham with little pieces of gnocco fritto, which is some kind of delicious bread. DH chose the Fior di Latte, which is two nice pieces of fresh mozzarella cheese with a drizzle of EVOO (extra virgin olive oil), and roasted peppers. It was garnished with a big leaf of basil, and it was supposed to have Maldon sea salt, but we never saw/tasted it.
After we began eating our app's, they brought us a plate with fresh focaccia bread, crispy breadsticks, a bowl of EVOO, and some of the best green (with pits) olives I have ever eaten in my life! The olives were the main attraction here, for me at least, and when our server realized just how much I was enjoying them, he offered us more, which I gladly accepted. By this point we had placed our entree orders. I chose the Polenta Valsugana which was polenta with fontina cheese, 2 large meatballs and a piece of braised short rib (boneless) all in a delicious red sauce. It was very, very good and more food than when I could handle. DH chose the lasagna alla forno. It was a hefty portion of lasagna, and it was very delicious.

All in all, we had a wonderful experience, and we will definitely be going back to Tutto Italia in the future.

Pros:

Ambiance, food, service, portions.
