Review of Whispering Canyon Cafe Lunch/Dinner

WE have eaten at the Whispering Canyon Cafe' several times and always found the food and service to be great. Therefore we decided to eat there for our Thanksgiving feast. We were sorely disappointed. Both the service and the food were not very good. Also when we asked for more, it took the longest time for it to come and by that time our appetites were almost gone. We will never eat Thanksgiving dinner there again. Much better to go to the Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom or even Pecos Bills was better than this.

Both Food and service were excellent. My wife had the chicken which she said was very good and two of us had steak which was excellent and two had the Salmon which was great. Another had the buffalo which was they said was very good. Our server was very attentive even though they were very busy the evening we were there.

The food and service was wonderful at 'Ohana's.
The Characters were also very good about interacting with both the adults and children. To me this is the best place for breakfast. It has become a tradition with our family.

We had another great dinner at the Biergarten. We enjoyed both the food, which was great and the entertainment. The entertainers really got the audience involved in the festivites.

My wife and I enjoyed a very romantic dinner at Monsieur Paul's. We had a window seat with a good view of Epcot in the evening. Also we arrived an hour before our ADR, but were quickly seated. We both had the Prix Fixe Menu with the rib-eye for two and it was excellent. The service that we received there from our young waitress was superb.

My wife had an iced coffee from Starbucks in Epcot on our recent trip. The service was so slow she said she would have left, but she had already paid. Also the coffee was not as good as that from Morroco.

Very Slow ServiceReview of Beach Club Villas (Disney Vacation Club)

We were just at Beach Club Villas from 11/30/2013 to 12/7/2013.
The good: The front desk & concierge staff could NOT have been nicer. They were a pleasure to deal with (even when our bill was incorrect). It's also fantastic to be able to walk out the back of the resort and stroll right into Epcot (or wait a few minutes for a FriendShip to Hollywood Studios).
The bad: The Dunes Cove Pool (the pool "exclusively for BCV guests") has a hot tub with no jets. What's the purpose of a hot tub with no jets? Doesn't that make it just a bathtub? I called maintenance 3 times and told the Concierge twice and nothing was done while we were there.
They were doing work on the water mains which was not well-communicated to either the guests or the staff. The memo telling us that we would have no water overnight was placed underneath our microwave. Front desk staff didn't know that water had been disconnected or why when we called, either. That's unusually poor communication for a WDW property.
The ugly: BCV is in serious need of refurbishment. The carpeting is worn through to the padding in places. The furniture in the room, while comfortable, was showing its age. Some of the glasses had been broken and had not been replaced.
The Verdict: BCV was nice, but we've had much better experiences at Saratoga Springs (where we could have stayed in a 1 bedroom for the same price as a BCV studio).

Needs updating & repairsReview of Kouzzina by Cat Cora - Breakfast

We have had consistently great experiences here. We always start with the fresh fruit bowl, large enough to share for a family of four. The fruit is fresh and the assortment consists of pineapple, green apple, orange, blueberries-- not the usual bland fruit salad. I always get the stacked Kouzzina breakfast and as a vegetarian, I sub out the meat for extra sweet potato hash (they will sub for what you ask for). The artichoke spread is to die for! My husband gets the breakfast skillet and my kids always get the pancakes. Everything is always consistently wonderful! The coffee is great too!

Still the best quick service option at Magic Kingdom. Every trip this is our go to QS place. They have some different options on the menu that you don't see anywhere else at Disney. The upstairs dining room is usually more quiet. The Lobster Roll is excellent.
