I ate here, with two friends, for the first time last week. I had always wanted to try it and it was okay, but I don't think I would eat there again. Maybe it's because of how we fry our seafood in New Orleans, but we all found the fish too moist and almost undercooked. We did like the thicker fries though. We were able to get a table; but the bird droppings on the ground in the area are disgusting.

I ate here last week in a group with 6 other adults. We mostly had steak, shrimp and chicken. We enjoyed the meal but all thought the food was rather bland. A couple of moms in our group were sharing a dinner and asked for extra noodles. The chef basically separated a small portion of the noodles, heated them on the grill and served them without any sauce or vegetables. Then, when he prepared the noodles with everything, gave them a portion of that.
Pros:
A lot of food for the priceCons:

Hubby and I ate breakfast here on 2/5/14. We had an ADR for 7:15am and were seated pretty much right away. You get your picture taken near the entrance and then they bring around the picture while you eat.
There are plenty of choices on the buffet, but some of our favorites were the Mickey waffles and the cheesy potatoes. There were also plenty of sweets too.
The character interaction here is great! You get the Fab Five - Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald. They all come around to the tables and spend time getting pictures.
The food is good (especially those Mickey waffles!) and I do think there's something for everyone. But its really the characters that are the stars of the show.

Hubby and I stayed at the Contemporary for the first time from 2/3 - 2/10/14. We loved it! The staff were all friendly and helpful and mousekeeping was great. We had stayed at POR and the Poly before but this is our new favorite. Its true that it doesn't have the theming that the other resorts do, but it makes up for that in other ways.
First, location, location, location! Being able to go downstairs and take the monorail was awesome, even with the closures for monorail rehab. And the walk to the Magic Kingdom was a great alternative. Second, it was very convenient being able to just go downstairs and get what we wanted (refilling our mugs, shopping, monorail, etc) instead of walking 5-10 minutes to a main building. Don't get me wrong, we love POR and the Poly and we don't mind walking....but it was nice and convenient.
The rooms are large and we had plenty of room for the 2 of us. And the view - INCREDIBLE! We had a theme park view room in the main tower and I highly recommend it! To me, it was worth every penny being able to wake up and go to sleep with the view of Cinderella Castle and Space Mountain. We even got take out from Contempo Cafe a few nights and ate on the balcony (with the help of the small table near the desk) while watching the fireworks. Talk about magical! One tip about the theme park view....try to request a higher floor.
We were very happy with our stay at the Contemporary and would definitely stay here again!

I planned this breakfast because the food sounded good and it got us into Epcot before it opened. However, it took us twenty minutes to be seated and we were seated in an uninteresting corner. The food was lukewarm and gooey. I have had a better breakfast at a Holiday Inn. The eggs were runny and flavorless, the meat was all burned up, and the potato casserole was the only redeeming thing. It was nice to have fresh fruit, but the fruit was not worth $100 for two people. I would not recommend this restaurant at all! Better dining at Cinderella's castle with a better ambiance.

I ate here with my mother on February 8th for dinner. The ambiance is nice, the waiter was nice, but the entree was a flavorless heap of salt. We both ordered the chicken breast and it tasted only like salt and nothing else. We were seated in the main ballroom and thought it was beautiful. We went and looked at the other two rooms, but neither of them was as nice. Sure the rose in the West wing was cool, but only if you were seated near it. The rest of the room was blah. The room with the music box spinning was extra dark and blah. We would not have liked it if we were seated in either of those rooms. As said before, our entrees were not worth the money (not even as a quick service option) because they had no flavor. The desert, however, was yummy. I had the grey stuff (the brownie it was on was hard as rock), and it was delicious. My mom had the chocolate cream puff and it was VERY good. IF only they had made an entree as worthy as the desert. After one try, I do not feel that I need to return. It was fun to see the castle, but that was it. Also, the picture with the beast was really rushed and came out all blurry because the person handling the character barked at us to stand next to the beast and only took one picture with our camera and made it all blurry! After spending so much money you would think he would have at least taken two pictures.

Disney made a terrible decision with the new fast pass system. Although my family and I were able to easily find a kiosk (I recommend going to the back of the park to avoid lines), we were very limited as to which rides we could get a pass for, and for which times. Consequently, we enjoyed fewer attractions on this trip and waited in longer lines. On top of everything else, we constantly had to retrieve our Disney ticket in order to scan it on the fast pass machine. The new system makes no sense, and it only benefits Disney in the long run (they are limiting how many rides you will be able to enjoy). We will not return to Disney again until they either return to the old system, or eliminate fast passes altogether. If you're going to use the new fast passes, I recommend reserving three attractions during the afternoon when lines are the longest, then visit as many attractions during the morning that you can.

I want to start off by saying my family had a deluxe dining plan, but we wanted to go to The Earl because of all the positive reviews and the fact that I own a sandwich shop and I wanted to snoop out what they were doing. I will get one thing off my chest, do not use table service dining credits at The Earl. A complete waste.
We didn't really know what we got with the dining credits until we ordered. At the order side of the counter we asked what we got with a deluxe dining plan. We were told sandwich, side and a drink. Keep in mind that there are soo many people in line, you are pushed through. So we walk down the counter to the pay station, pick up some sides and desserts only to find out at the pay station that you only get one side per credit for under $3 and the drink is not a bottle but a fountain that you don't see when standing in line. So I'm frustrated and have to gather up all the nonqualifying snacks and bottles, fight my way through the crowd and return them. My wife sends me to find a table (easier said than done) while she checks out. There is sooooo much congestion at the pickup station that I would say good luck for picking up your order. My sandwich was tasty and the kids sandwiches were decent. My wife got the wrong sandwich, but after looking at the line at the counter, she just ate it.
One more thing, in the hour that we were in there, i never saw one employee wiping down any tables.
Being in the business, I walked away from The Earl so upset. It is terribly designed, contradictory information given by employees, and not a good value for dining plans.

We used 2 deluxe dining credits to attend the dinner show and walked away very happy. We went to the late show so that we could sit on the ground floor, otherwise the balcony does not look like too much fun. Disney does what they do best and puts on a great show. This is what you are going for, as the food is so so. Disney is utilizing family style dining more and more and from a restaurant operation standpoint, it allows them to serve everyone much quicker. The fried chicken was decent and the ribs were so so. Though I do have to add that alcoholic drinks are included.

Living in a part of the country where Indian and African food is not very prevalent, we wanted to go exotic and try this place. We are very adventurous eaters and Sanaa delivered.
Our waiter walked us through the entire menu and gave recommendations. Our server knew we wanted to sample different things so he worked it out on our deluxe dining plan so that the kids got what they wanted and we got an extra appetizer. We had the naan sampler (btw the red chili sambal is so much better here than at Road to Marakesh in Epcot) an African salad sampler (delicious!) and another sampler (all good) for starters. My wife had the Tandori chicken (fantastic) and I had the spicy fish and chicken with jasmine rice (just ok). Dessert was a blur but I do know that I don't like bread pudding before I came here and I still don't.
This place is a must try for anyone wanting to go off the reservation for dining at Disney.
