I do not regret attending this party, but I now know that I would never do one of these types of parties again. MVMCP was the only time in our Disney trip where I saw people being really rude and terrible to each other. Other crowded moments fireworks/nighttime shows of the trip people were friendly and understanding. At MVMCP, people were so mean about defending their spots for shows, fireworks, and parades. Luckily my husband spent basically the whole party staked out in a spot, so we had a great spot. But the atmosphere was so tense that I knew I would not want to pay for a party again. I like happiness! Of course, the parade was amazing and no parade can ever compare to floats that smell like gingerbread and cookies. And my daughter loved dancing with the polar bears at the definitely not crowded dance party! But it’s definitely one and done for us.
Pros:
Amazing paradeCons:

Fantastic dining experience. Amazing service. Cool atmosphere. Great food - easily shareable. Had the lasagna - it was piping hot so be careful of burnt tongues. Very knowledgeable about wine list and willing to let you try before buying. Love the 'speakeasy/hidden' atmosphere. That really appealed to my 10 year old daughter.
Pros:
Great wine list; great food; great service; great atmosphereCons:

OMG the pastries are as good as they LOOK. Earlier this summer we stopped by (after having visited in February as well). We love the Mickey Mousse!!!
Pros:
Despite being almost too pretty to eat - these are soooo good.Cons:

We went here for one of the earliest possible dinner reservations. It wasn’t crowded yet and that along with our seat by the window really reduced the chaos that buffets can have. The character interaction was ok, most of the characters didn’t really stick around, but Tigger was great. He tickled my daughter and she couldn’t stop laughing. The food was very good; we were impressed by all the buffets at WDW. However, if I had to rank the food deliciousness at the buffets we tried on our trip, Crystal Palace would be ranked last. Overall, we had a pleasant experience, but not enough that we would need to return, unless my daughter desperately wanted to see Piglet and Eeyore again. I would recommend as a nice break from touring the park, but not a must.
Pros:
See Piglet and Eeyore, good food, pretty restaurant, good serviceCons:

absolutly beautiful resort with an amazing Staff. Disney turned a bad experience into an awesome vacation. Bell boy turned our ice chest onto the cart by accident. Disney repaced all our food that was ruined plus some. than on day 4 had an accident . broke foot fell in showe. staff bent over backwards to made the remainder of our trip magical. gave us fast pases so we would not have to wait in the heat with a broken foot. I cant say enough about the place. Whispering canyon cafe was amazing. we will come back here in future. i rate it a 10
Pros:
good food friendly staff and amazing duty general managers as a hold. beautiful resortCons:

I feel this service is 100% worth the $. I am notoriously horrible at taking pictures and remembering to take pictures. And I don’t do selfies. So PhotoPass was our way to guarantee that we had several family pictures from our vacation. Christmas Card, done. All our memories are there and I didn’t have to stress. The quality of everything was great. I can’t imagine a scenario where I would go to WDW and not get this.
Pros:
Guaranteed memories of your vacation, good quality, fun magic shotsCons:

Be careful of booking a late breakfast. We like to rope drop and then schedule a late breakfast in the 10:00/10:30 range. We had a 10:30 for Tusker House and showed up about 10:20 to check in. It took 10 minutes just to get through the check-in line. We then received the light-up coaster pager. 40 minutes later, out pager finally went off. I was concerned there would be no breakfast foods left, but they were still serving. Our server was nice and we enjoyed the foods and character interactions. But, then the tab arrived. We were charged the lunch rate instead of the breakfast rate, so that took even more time to get settled. We would return for the food and experience, but perhaps not so late in the morning.

We did not eat at many counter service restaurants during our trip, so I don’t have much to compare this too, but overall I enjoyed our experience but wasn’t that impressed. We had ordered ahead of time, which was great, but I still found the entry process confusing and not clearly explained. Once we got into the restaurant, I wasn’t as wowed by the inside of the castle as I thought I would be. It was somehow smaller than I imagined. My daughter chose to eat in the west wing because it was spooky. We got a seat easily, but we had an earlier seating time, and it did seem that things got much more crowded and busy as we were eating. The food was fine, nothing special, and the grey stuff was again, nothing that amazing. But I say, it’s not too expensive, so why not go?
