This is our favorite time to visit WDW! Love all the food and exhibits.

Pros:

Variety of foods and merchandise.

Cons:

Festival Center too far out of the way!! Needs to be more accessible to everyone. Seminars are too pricey! They need to bring back the Poland booth!

Love it - I keep it open on my desktop, even when we don't have a trip near. It gives me the ability to view plans or decide on new plans. I have an older iphone so it doesn't come up really fast while I'm in the parks but I keep others nearby who can access our plans... AND I keep a paper print out if we are there for a week or more.

Pros:

Simplification as long as your internet devices work

Cons:

I have had to opportunity to stay here on multiple occasions. I love that it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to stay here. I love the big pool and the activities planned at the pool. I don't love the screaming kids that run past your room while you are trying to sleep. I don't love the packed out buses. I also don't love that this resort always seems to have lots of tour groups, HS groups, etc.

Pros:

Affordable Cute themeing

Cons:

Very noisy Lots of tour groups, high school groups, etc.

Review of MagicBand

As a Disney World veteran, I had an easy transition to the magic band system. Walk out the door in the AM with your band on your arm and you are set. Our room always has a designated place where all bands go as soon as we get to the room and are done for the day. Therefore, as we exit, it's easy to see who might have forgotten. I cannot tell you, in the "old days", how many times we had to return to the room because one of us forgot our pass. I know it's a big brother thing to a degree, but that is ok with me. Meals, credit card, fast passes, room key - all in one place. Who doesn't like convenience?

Pros:

Everything is all right there on your wrist...

Cons:

Can be hot and sweaty occasionally during 90 degree days

Review of Pizzafari

We ate here 9/10/2018 to try the new family style dining option. We made a reservation ahead of time, checked in at the podium, the meal was explained to us and we were sent to a cashier to pay and receive our drinks and ceasar salads, and a caprese salad and given a number to put on our table. We were then directed to a seating area for the family style meals. The salads were good, could have used a bit more dressing to my liking, but my hubby liked his just fine. Then we were brought our entrees, which were a pepperoni pizza (I think it had eight slices if I remember correctly), a dish of baked ziti and a dish of chicken fettucini alfredo, and a plate of mini cannoli. Everything was delicious, and more than enough food for two. We happily ate until we were full, then packed up the rest to take back to our studio for another meal later in the week.

Pros:

For $19.99 each, this was a great value for two adults, with plenty of food to make another meal for each of us, plus it was delicious.

Cons:

Can't really think of any.

Review of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (Magic Kingdom)

My family attended the party for the first time this year. It is worth the ticket price. We loved the parade, fireworks show and the Sanderson sisters stage show. We were able to meet a lot of Disney characters that are not normally out during the daytime. The addition of a real life pirate to the Pirates ride was a nice touch and quite cute. Space Mountain in the dark this year was scarier. The lighting in the spinning tea cups ride was super neat! I had no idea that we would end up with so much candy! I was impressed with the amount of home made costumes other park goers were wearing. It was worth every penny and will definitely go again.

Pros:

Lots of candy Lots of Disney characters

Cons:

The hot Florida weather Long lines

Needs desperately to be updated. This event hasn't seen many changes or upgrades in forever. It's great to go once... maybe once every 6-8 years! But if you've seen it recently, save your money. And they need to sell less tickets.

Pros:

Fireworks. Parade (if you've never seen it before, it's fun)

Cons:

Too crowded. Nothing has changed in many, many years! needs something new and fresh (besides Hocus-Pocus which is already "old" after 3 years)

Review of FastPass+ (Retired)

OK - I resisted for a while, because I liked the older system where I could send one of the teens to run up and get our fast passes for anything we wanted. As soon as it began, Fastpass+ seemed like an imposition... having to choose our park attendance in advance for our trip? However, once being used, it seemed to work well with making dining plans. We always get our passes right at 60 days out (staying on property) and are able to get what we really want. Also, we set our passes as early as possible in the AM so we can travel to another park in the afternoon. It works well and we can, of course, get more fast passes after the first 3 are used. Took some getting used to, but we like it now.

Pros:

You can schedule all your favorites without worrying if all the FPs will be gone when you make it up to the kiosk.

Cons:

Have to make plans in advance but is that really a bad thing?
