Always Enjoy Rose and Crown
Pros:
We always enjoy our meals at Rose and Crown, we visit once a year and it's always our must do restaurant. Fish and chips are always good, crispy on the outside and tender and flakey on the inside, and I usually get the salmon. The last few times I had the salmon they have changed the dish but it's always delicious! One of our favorite apps are the Scottish eggs! soooo good! Could be better. The chicken platter is good. Hamburgers and chicken strips are average. Grand-daughter loved the mac and cheese. Once in awhile there will be a deli section open, but last couple of times that is closed, so I don't know if they no longer offer or not.
Pros:
There is a fixin's bar for the burgers and dogs. This spot is always open so that helps if you are eating late.Cons:

Pop Century used to be my favorite resort. But, the most recent experience was not positive.
I do not like the new floors in the remodeled rooms. It's not the floors themselves, it's how dirty they are. I think the new "wood' flooring needs significantly more cleaning with a wet mop. But, many people now choose to forgo housekeeping during their trip to save a little. As a result, it was not possible to walk around our room with bare feet. That was particularly after a shower.
Also, the new shower is great, but if you have little ones not having a bathtub is an issue.
The food court really needs to be updated.

Wow, what an amazing experience. Our meal was at a very leisurely pace and so fantastic. We had the Taste of Africa, which was delicious. My husband had the Filet Mignon and I had the seafood curry. Both were great. We were here for the wine and it didn’t disappoint. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. Everything was above and beyond expectations and I would love to go here again.

Clam Chowder - nuff said! Granted it's not world class chowder, but for eating counter service in a theme park it is a nice change of pace. The whole menu is actually. We stumbled on this sport years ago, and it is now one of our favorites. A pleasant change from all the hamburgers and chicken strips.

We love Pop Century. Always stay here. New rooms are o.k style wise. But the beds are the best soft yet firm at the same time. And the amount of pillows given was great, enough for everyone. We enjoyed our stay like always.

Juneau is one of the primary port stops for DCL, and other cruises. There is quite a bot to do there, even if you do not book one of the many excursions.
One highlight of a visit to Juneau is Mendenhall Glacier. There is a very nice visitor center. There are a number of hiking trails around the glacier area, from easy to strenuous. You can book an excursion through DCL, but you can also wait an buy transfers when you arrive in town. It's about $30 round trip.
Another fun thing to do if the weather is nice is to ride the Mt. Roberts Tram. It takes you to the top of the hill by Juneau and you get a beautiful view of the harbor and surrounding islands.
There are a number of whale watching trips available from Juneau.

Beautiful during the day … incredible at night! A must see! Get your FastPass for the river ride and the Pandora flight ride!

If you're coming to Walt Disney World and need excellent lodging with clean and inviting rooms … this is the place! We go to the parks during the day, and sleep in comfortable and clean rooms at night!
