We stopped in for supper after going to Hollywood Studios. We had pulled pork, sweet potato tots, BBQ Cauliflower. Food was really good and such a nice break from park food. There where 5 of us and we all enjoyed it.

Pros:

Good Food, portions where nice, prices decent, staff pleasant

Cons:

The only con we had was it was noisy and made it hard to carry on a conversation, but with that said we would go again.

Review of Disney Dining Plan

My family did the Dining plan on both of our last vacations. Could you do food cheaper, sure, but the experience will suffer. It was wonderful not to have to worry about the expense the food, not to have to look at prices on menus. We also found we were able to do more character experiences and meals that would normally would not have chosen. Tip-pick a dessert from your quick service meal that you can eat later or for breakfast.

Pros:

Budgeted into your package, able to pick anything off the menu, able to do more unique dining experiences.

Cons:

A lot of food, but hey you're on vacation!

This was probably the best tour I have been in in Disney World. My only complaint is that it could be longer. The photo opportunities were great and we loved learning more about the elephants and how they are cared for my the cast members.

Pros:

close photo opportunities with the elephants

Cons:

could be longer

When I started to use the app in its infancy, I didn't find it all that useful, my next trips I was using the app much more, the latest trip it was so a blessing to use the mobile ordering, and the menus. Hoping that more menus appear as not all of them were available yet (less than 10% of the places I looked for food). Ride wait times is still not accurate, many times the rides were longer (This was annoying when walking through MK) or shorter than the app was showing.

Pros:

Mobile Ordering is excellent

Cons:

Ride Wait times not accurate, fast pass management can remove reservations if a time overlaps.

We stayed at CSR Sept 12-18 and overall, it was ok. It used to be our favorite but not anymore. Just not impressed with the staff or new rooms. And with all the construction, etc I would not recommend anyone stay there until it is complete.

Pros:

New El Mercado (Pepper Market) love the new tables, colors, etc.

Cons:

Awkward new set up of the rooms. Construction and the need to walk past it multiple times a day. Shortened hours for food court and gift shop. Too spread out and too many convention guests taking up the best areas (rooms).

We had a great experience here in December. We did have to wait awhile to be seated, but that was fine. We were seated in a corner by the window, and this was truly fantastic because it felt secluded and less chaotic. The characters in their Christmas outfits were so fun. We had amazing interactions with Daisy and Donald especially. I don’t eat buffets very much, so I was worried about the food, but it was incredible!! I am a pescetarian, and I really appreciated all the delicious salad and veggie choices. I thought the salmon was absolutely delicious, better than I had at CRT a couple days later! We really had a great time here with the characters and the food.

Pros:

Special holiday outfits for characters and great interaction, delicious buffet food

Cons:

If you don’t have a corner seat, it may be loud and chaotic

Castaway Ray's Stingray Adventure. This is an hour long educational program that allows people to learn more about Southern stingrays. The program starts with a short presentation about rays. You then proceed to a shallow water area where ramps are set into the water. A few people gather around each ramp with a Disney animal care specialist. They demonstrate how to properly feed the rays as they glide around the ramp area and the guests are given some shrimp, squid or fish to feed them. You can also touch their backs and fins as they swim by. Following that, there is about 30 minutes where people can use the provided mask and snorkel to swim with the rays.

Pros:

Cool animal interaction and good information

Cons:

Rather expensive for 1 hour. Small children may be intimidated by the rays.

Our family enjoys photo pass, the photographers are so nice, and they always try and get the best pose for the whole family. We enjoy the surprise photos, along with all the additional characters, and add on's when you are editing your photos. We have been to Disney World several times and honestly do not think we would go without Photo Pass. If you are debating on getting photo pass I would say if this is your first trip then yest get it the memories in photos are the best.

Pros:

The whole family is in the pictures, the surprise shots are the best

Cons:

We do not see any cons in photo pass

We visited the MNSSHP in 2016 family of 4 (2 adults and 14 and 10 year old). We absolutely loved the experience. It was so much fun and we still talk about it today. We cannot wait to try it again. We loved the trick or treating that was set up everywhere. The cast members are generous with the candy and gave us so much. We also loved riding our favourite attractions with no wait. There was a parade, firework show and stage show also that was fun and exciting. We travel every year to Disney so appreciate anything we haven't seen before. They offered special foods for the event but very hard to get them because they sell out quickly. Also lots of extra characters to meet but very long lines for them.

Pros:

No wait for rides and lots of extras. Fun atmosphere.

Cons:

If it was raining earlier in the day, the headless horseman will not be in the parade. This was a little disappointing. Also, pick what you want to do or eat immediately as lines for characters are very long and special event food sells out fast.
