We arrived to Orlando only to be told it would be more than an hour for our transportation to arrive. I ended up opting for a Lyft. I went to the counter to tell them I would not be utilizing my ride to the hotel but wanted to make sure I still had my ride back. I was told I had no problem and, in fact, would be refunded one way if I called the Mears center directly. Upon calling, I was told that my ride to the hotel was marked as "completed" and therefore would not receive a refund. That was already strike 2. On the ride back to the airport, we left 15 minutes late from the hotel, when we arrived to the terminal, my suitcase, which I rolled out of the hotel with no problem at all, would not roll and the wheels were cockeyed like the case was thrown and damaged. I replied to a survey sent to me by Mears and sent them photos of the case and an account of what happened only to be totally ignored. The worst part is, when I went to reference the email I sent them, it is totally gone from my email indicating that since they did not like my review,they'd just as well ignore it and give me the finger. Don't waste your time, money or sanity with this joke of a company. Uber and Lyft cost almost the same price and they are immediately available upon landing. Mears is an absolute trash service.

Don’t purchase express service. You pay double and still have to wait for everyone to board the bus. The wais is just as long as regular fair.

I had reserved a ride for 5 people to a Disney resort (express service) costing me $305.00. 2 of my passengers needed to get an earlier flight so I called to change their transportation to an earlier time. I was told they would have to be standard not express which was fine. I was not refunded the difference between express and standard AND they had the nerve to charge me an extra $2.50 of which I am still not clear on why. Their explanation is shady and I really just wanted to make sure they had a ride. It was not a bus but a taxi van and other people traveling to and from same place were standard. Horrible run company and definitely NOT recommended.

Like another reviewer, we were left stranded on the return trip to the airport. We were at the pick-up point early, bus was late, and when it finally did come, they pulled away before we were able to gather our things to walk to the bus. Customer service acted like it was our fault and just kept insisting the driver didn\\'t see us and marked us as a no show. No solution offered, no apology, and the rep actually disconnected me when I started to get upset. Had to find alternative transportation at the last minute. So stressful, not worth it, never again.

Horrible customer service. Tracking app doesn't work at all. Did not pick us up and unable to reschedule another driver to pick us up so they left us stranded on our vacation. Use literally anybody else for your trip.

We had an excellent experience with Mears connect standard yesterday.
We waited less than 10mins for small minivan. Our driver Eddie was super helpful. There was one family dropped off before us.
We stayed at Carribean Beach resort and realised we had left a bag in the minivan 30mins after drop off. We called Mears and they returned the bag to the hotel within 30mins.
Eddie gave good tips along the journey. I would certainly use them again.

We had an absolutely horrific experience with Mears when we arrived in Orlando last week. We took a late flight so Mears was our only non-ride share transportation option. Mears did not provide us with a bus but sent a taxi instead. It was at least 20 minutes until the taxi arrived and we were able to get going. Ten minutes into our ride to our Disney resort there were beeping sounds and smoke billowing out of the engine. The driver pulled over to the side of the freeway and contacted dispatch to send us another car. We waited on the shoulder of the freeway for over an hour before another taxi showed up. The new driver told us that the taxis are all so old that they are very unsafe. He said that his had over 350,000 miles on it and that the broken down vehicle had even higher mileage. His car’s rear windows were broken which caused problems at the security checkpoints at WDW. The taxi driver got lost and took several wrong turns on his way to our Disney resort. I would have thought that these Mears taxi drivers would know Walt Disney World like the back of their hands. Anyhow, after several wrong turns and the driver trying to drop us off at the wrong resort we finally arrived at our hotel at 3 am—over two hours after we had landed at the airport. That night was an absolute nightmare! We had no issues in the way back to the airport though. When I contacted Mears customer service about our horrific trip they said that nothing that happened to us could have been foreseen or prevented. I think having cars with lower mileage could be a start. The customer service lady said that all she was willing to do is give us a 50% refund on our arrival fares. Not even a full refund after being stranded on the side of the freeway for over an hour? Anyhow, I have used Sunshine Flyer in the past and have only had positive experiences. I will never use Mears Connect again.

We paid the elevated price for direct service, which is supposed to be a limited or no wait. Understanding it was still a shared ride. Once we got our luggage, we waited more than 30 minutes on the bus to depart. Next time we will pay for a private ride with direct transportation without the wait. The prices are about the same. Time is money at Disney World- literally. Waiting that long for a bus to depart is a waste of time.

My wife and I planned a Disney trip this February, 2023. I reserved Mears Connect to pick us up at the Orlando airport and to take us to our hotel and then 5 days later, a returned trip from our hotel back to the airport. I paid a total of $64.00 for both trips. The trip from the airport to the hotel was perfect. On Friday, February 10th, our scheduled pick up time was at 6:30pm, which we received a confirmation text the previous day. We were outside of the hotel at 6:15pm and never saw a Mears Connect bus. I called the main number, gave our confirmation # and the lady put me on hold. After about 5 minutes, she returned and said "We had some shuttle issues and a taxi will be there in 11 minutes to pick you up" I replied, if I wouldn't have called, how would we have known that? What about a follow up text, like the confirmation text we received the previous day? The lady was extremely rude and would never answer that question. She then said that there would be "No charge" for the taxi, that they would pay for it. I reminded her that there is a charge, the $32.00, half of the $64.00 I paid when I reserved the bus. What about refunding my $32.00? She rudely said, there will be No Refund. I said, so the taxi isn't really free, I'm paying $32.00. She just replied, Have a good Day and hung up.
I would think that a reputable company, who in reality "Forgot us" would be super apologetic and would want to refund our $32.00, pay for our taxi and encourage us to use their services again in the future. That would have given them a "10" rating.
I would highly recommend renting a car or using another transportation company.
