We ate at La Hacienda de San Angel and it was wonderful! This is the only restaurant where I did not have to worry about what to eat with my soy food allergy. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. The view across the lake was beautiful! I will eat here again!
Pros:
Great service, great food, beautiful viewCons:
Queso cheese dip was just okayReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 09/23/2022

here is really subpar in relation to Latin food and Disney restaurants, and the service was slow. If you're a vegetarian or anyone who wishes to have your drink refilled, choose another place to dine. The redeeming factor is that it sits on the lake and offers a great view of the Epcot fireworks.
Pros:
Near the fireworks showCons:

My family didn’t enjoy the food and the service was a little on the slow side. The atmosphere was dark and felt dated. Too expensive for what it was.
Pros:
Air conditioning Easy to get a reservationCons:
We didn’t love the food Felt it was over priced even for Disney Dark and datedReviewed by Disneymeg Review Date: 05/30/2022

Staff was rude and unwelcoming from the hostess to the server. The staff made us feel as if we were an annoyance. Food was over priced and mediocre at best. The server rolled his eyes when questioned about the menu. The calamari tasted like it was cooked in old oil and they were served overcooked. It was so bad we couldn't even eat it. The server never came to check on us for drinks or if we needed anything. A member of our party, who is not a big eater, had asked for a quesadilla which is only offered on the childrens menu which adults are not allowed to order from. They accomodated by doubling the price of the quesadilla and charging an extra $20 for adding overcooked grilled chicken to this item. It was a terrible experience and my family will not be returning. The ONLY nice thing about this restaurant is that it has fireworks views. The food and service was well below what is expected for Wdw with much higher prices. I was looking forward to eating here for months, and was highly disappointed!

While not nearly as highlighted as other pavilion eateries, even among its fellow Mexico restaurants (lookin’ at you San Angel Inn), Hacienda is absolutely delicious.
We got the Queso fundido to start and we’re pleased with its simplicity and tastiness. From there, I had the Alambre de Res, which was absolutely fabulous. Complex flavors that were distinctly Latin, and yet familiar enough to please anyone who might be reticent to adventure.
On top of delicious food, we had an excellent waiter, who was on point with his suggestions for drinks as well as entrées, and provided top-notch service throughout the meal.
Then, as if you needed more, we were able to be at a table right next to the water around sunset, and that was simply beautiful. Obviously this is subject to be different if you are placed at a different table, but absolutely worth a request if you are able.
Pros:
Delicious food with powerful and complex flavors but not out of the comfort zone if you have pickier eaters. Waiter was excellent and made helpful suggestionsCons:

The Atmosphere here is lovely. Where things went a bit downhill for us started with the service. It was fine, not the Disney type of service we had become use to since arriving. My daughter is vegetarian, she basically told her she good give her a double kids meal of a quesdilla. She asked for fruit as a side, she got corn. She didn't want to make a fuss about it, so we didn't say anything. She asked for salsa and sour cream, which the server brought, but brought it with our appitizer, so we had eaten half of it by the time her meal arrived. I'm sure we could have asked for more, but again, no one came and asked how we were doing during the meal. I got the pork tacos, which were good, not great. My daughers quesadilla was just that....cheese and tortillas.
Pros:
AmbianceCons:
Not great for vegetarians, service was not Disney standards (could have just been our serve. Expensive for food that was just good, not great.Reviewed by debg33 Review Date: 11/01/2021

This was the first time dining here as we usually dine at San Angel Inn. Since we could not get a reservation there we decided to try this one. We had dinner here on Oct. 23rd. It was a great experience. The menu is somewhat different but a nice change from San Angel. We ordered the Queso Fundido and the Flautas for appetizers. Both were very good. Overall we agreed the Queso was the winner of the 2. Two of us ordered the Tacos de Langosta (fried lobster). They were delicious. One in our party ordered the Tacos de Cameron (shrimp) and they were also wonderful. Another ordered the Pollo Poblano and raved how tasty it was. The other person in our party of 5 ordered the Carne Asada and found it flavorful and cooked to perfection. We ordered the 50th anniversary dessert to share. It was very good. Some in the party did not like the cake but I thought overall it was very good. We had a late reservation and they did not rush us. We were even able to enjoy "Harmonius" while enjoying our coffee and dessert. We will definitely dine here again.
