I don't dole out a "10" rating lightly, but Be Our Guest deserves it.
Our waiter, Chris, was amazing. He told us when to have our cameras ready so we could get a picture of the Beast when he made his surprise entrance (we also got to take pictures with him in the library).
The wine was awesome (Chris recommended Conundrum--it was AMAZING), so was the beer.
The charcuterie board was delicious, but be warned it has two pates (but we love pate!).
Entrees were good--the steak and pork chops were the favorites, the seafood in puff pastry was just okay.
Dessert was awesome--the strawberry cupcake is the best. We had a birthday in our party and got to try "the grey stuff!" So cute!
And of course, the atmosphere is better than anything Disney has ever done before!

Pros:

Food, service, atmosphere, pictures with Beast!

We had dinner here on February 3. We were seated within minutes of our reservation time. I had the shrimp and scallops in a lobster bisque served in a flaky pastry puff. One of the best meals I had all week. The wine pairing suggested on the menu was spot on. Number one son had the Cornish game hen and loved it, number 2 son had Salmon and loved it. Three different dessert choices all very good. Number 1 son was wearing a birthday pin and received a special dessert, The Grey Stuff....he said the dishes were right.

The service was spotty. We were seated in the West Wing. Very intimate. Not nearly as noisy as the ballroom and the tables were much farther apart. The affects are truly Disney. The after dinner visit with the Master was fun. He was very engaging for a character that does not speak. I think the big problem here is congestion. The entire new area of Fantasy land is very crowded.

Pros:

theme was spot on

Cons:

attention from server.

We had a wonderful dinner with excellent service. My son and I had the steak and both thought it was great. My wife had the shrimp and scallops and said it was "very good". The atmosphere in the ballroom was wonderful and we enjoyed meeting The Beast.

Atmosphere, food

What can I say. . . the entire experience was unbelieveable. We visited for dinner on 1/22/13 and were seated in the forbidden room of the castle. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but the rose and portrait are an experience not to be missed.

I ordered the ratitoulle and loved it. I don't care for mushrooms and it had mushrooms, but not so much that I couldn't eat them or pick them off. The order was the perfect size for me and I loved the flavor and the vegetables that were included in the meal.

We had a group of 9 and the server was knowledgeable, professional, and quick to serve us. Even though we were finished and just hanging out (it was late in the evening), she didn't try to hurry us along.

Our bill (mine and my husbands) was about $70 with a tip. I thought that was pretty reasonable considering we can pay that at the Outback Steakhouse at home.

I can understand why there is such a long wait for a reservation. It's well worth it and I would recommend it to anyone. I can't wait to go again.

DH, DS12 and I were VERY lucky to get an ADR for this restaurant on November 24, 2012 for dinner. We registered at the podium in front of the bridge and were given a pager. After about a 20 minute wait, we were called and shown into the Beast's Castle. IT.WAS.AMAZING!

The immediate interior hallway was stradled on both sides by Knights in Armor who spoke to you (and each other) as you walked in. This is where the touch-screens are for lunch. From there, you are taken into the Ballroom. It is a vast open area and looks EXACTLY like the ballroom from the movie, right down to the chandelier and chairs decorated with carved wooden roses.

I had asked the CM when I made my ADR to be seated in the West Wing, where the wilting rose was kept under the bell jar. It was magnificent. The room was smaller than the Rose Gallery or the Ballroom and much darker. It was an exact replica of the West Wing from the movie. In one corner, on a table, was a holographic rose that lost a petal every 20 minutes or so. When a petal fell from the rose, loud thunder and lightning echoed through the room and the portrait of the Prince that hung on the opposite wall from the Rose magically changed to a portrait of the Beast himself! I have never seen anything so amazing in my life.

Yes, the tables are close together...we felt packed in like sardines. However, the food was delicious and the service was impeccable! DS and I had the steak and pomme frittes. The steak was well-seasoned and tender and the "fries" were served in a very French looking cone. DH had the seafood in puff pastry which he found rich and delicious.

For dessert, we had a strawberry cupcake, a lemon cupcake and due to my peanut allergy, I had a chocolate cupcake that was brought out "from the back" that our server assured us hadn't come into contact with other foods or desserts. My cupcake was cold (straight from the fridge), but very rich and chocolately!

After dinner, we were escorted to the Beast's Library where he greeted us and signed my son's Autograph Book. We got many great pictures as well.

Overall, we GREATLY enjoyed our experience and can't wait to go back!

Pros:

Atmosphere, food, Disney Magic

Cons:

Nothing!

All I can say is this is Disney magic at its best. It looks like you just stepped into the movie. We ate in the ballroom and I was afraid of the noise level, but it was not a problem. Our table was mesmerized by the snow falling and not missing the entrance of the Beast. The food was very good also. We were a party of five and we all had different entrees. Our server Shelly was very informative about imagineering concepts and hidden mickeys. We loved meeting the beast after dinner also. We so loved the atmosphere that we didn't want to leave and we lingered over coffee as long as possible. We were encouraged to visit the other rooms and take pictures. A lovely experience that will now become a must for every visit.

Pros:

atmosphere, food, service
