What’s better than a typical Disney Cruise? A specially themed Disney Cruise, of course!

Earlier this year, we took a cruise on the Disney Fantasy to take part in a Pixar Day at Sea sailing! Available on select 5-night itineraries sailing to The Bahamas, this special offering features a full day of Pixar-related fun!
Pixar Days at Sea sailings offer a litany of special offerings like encounters with a rotating group of Pixar characters, including:
- Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story
- Mike and Sulley from Monsters, Inc.
- Edna Mode from The Incredibles
- Joy from Inside Out
- Miguel from Coco

A series of Pixar-themed entertainment offerings, including:
- Pixar Pals Celebration, a “high-energy deck party with music and dancing.”
- Edna Mode’s Style on Parade, an Incredibles-inspired fashion show featuring Edna Mode herself.
- Crush’s Totally Awesome Pool Party, a poolside party hosted by Crush, featuring the Pixar Party Patrol (the Surface Squad) on deck, “leading the fun with games, dancing, and tons of ocean-sized good times.”

Finally, there are special Pixar dining options, including:
- The Hey Howdy Breakfast, a musical breakfast featuring characters from Toy Story.
- The Pixar Day at See Dinner, which offers passengers the chance to “get a taste of an animator’s life” with dishes inspired by the commissary at the California-based Pixar Animation Studios.
- Anyone Can Cook classes, where Disney Chefs will teach guests how to craft Remy’s signature dish from Ratatouille.
- Undersea Magic With Crush, a Finding Nemo-themed meal hosted at Animator’s Palate that offers a “totally fin-tastic meal” complete with Finding Nemo characters, including Crush himself.

So, what did we think of the Pixar Day at Sea? We LOVED it! There was more than enough to do – and more than enough characters to see – without things feeling overwhelming, and it still allows for a relaxing voyage if you so choose.

While the major offerings were a lot of fun, including the deck party (even if not your thing, give it a try), we also enjoyed some of the smaller “sillier” activities just as much (Design Your Own Forky was a blast!).

Then there’s the dinner. The Pixar Day at Sea Dinner was so good that it’s honestly worth a Pixar Day at Sea sailing even if you don’t like Pixar!

If a Pixar Day at Sea voyage sounds up your alley, there are several sailings available in 2027: January 24th-29th, January 29th-February 3rd, February 7th-12th, April 4th-9th, 9th-14th, 18th-23rd, and 23rd-28th.

The Disney Cruise Line’s Pixar Day at Sea offers a fun character-based addition to a voyage on the Disney Fantasy! Stay tuned to AllEars for more!
