Welp, We Did Not EXPECT To See THIS At Disney’s Art of Animation Hotel

If you’ve been to Disney World, then you know that it rains. A lot. Sometimes all day!

But sometimes, not even the Disney Bubble is waterproof!

At Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, buildings can experience rain overwhelming drainage systems, causing flooding and water leaks during severe rainstorms and hurricanes. And yesterday was no exception…

While scrolling through our TikTok today, it turns out that Art of Animation had a massive water leak. @Lalaurielou posted that you’ll need an umbrella to venture through the resort today.

This water leak is in the hotel’s restaurant, Landscape of Flavors. The space has multiple dining rooms, and this only affected the Lion King room, so you don’t have to worry about this impacting your dinner if you’re headed over soon.

Art of Animation has scheduled mechanical work, but no timeline or closure dates have been announced by Disney yet. The guest buildings impacted are:

• 1650 Animation Way, Bay Lake (Cars-themed building)
• 1700 Animation Way, Bay Lake (Cars-themed building)
• 1750 Animation Way, Bay Lake (Cars-themed building)
• 1800 Animation Way, Bay Lake (Finding Nemo-themed building)
• 1900 Animation Way, Bay Lake (Finding Nemo-themed building)
• 1950 Animation Way, Bay Lake (The Lion King-themed building)
