We recently traveled around the world and got to experience some incredible stuff!

We flew out to Singapore to check out the brand new addition to the Disney Cruise Line, the Disney Adventure, and during our visit, we stayed at the Orchid Hotel in Singapore. We wanted to share with you a tour of the room we stayed in the night before we set sail!
This was actually a surprise hotel stay the night before we set sail on the Disney Adventure. You see, the hotel we had booked was full, so we were moved to the Orchid Hotel Singapore. The area where the hotel was located had great shopping, and this area is known as one of the fanciest in Singapore. Now let’s get to our room…

The Bathroom
We stayed in a Deluxe Trip Room. Upon walking in, you had a very large bathroom. We loved how spacious this was for a hotel room.

It had a large vanity with space on either side of the sink for our items. There were tissues, hand towels, and plenty of lighting.

On the vanity, there were free toiletries, including lotion, soap, and more. This was a nice touch.

What stood out to us was the large tub. It also has a handheld attachment for washing your hair, which is a practical touch.

There were two large towels over the tub as well as two hand towels.

There was a standing shower with a beautiful glass door.

This was very spacious and included complimentary toiletries like shampoo and soap as well.

Just outside of the shower, you’ll find the toilet.

Coffee Station
One of our favorite features is the coffee station right next to the bed.

Here you’ll find tea packets, a Nespresso coffee machine, two mugs, and an electric kettle for hot water.

It also had a mini fridge that had plenty of space.

Closet
In the closet, there was a safe deposit box and a laundry bag for dirty clothes.

Inside the closet were also two waffle knit robes that were very comfortable.

You can also find an iron and an ironing board inside the closet to keep your clothes fresh.

The Bedroom
We appreciated how large the room was with two twin beds, two bedside tables, and plenty of lighting. The beds were firm, which is standard in Singapore, but we still found them comfortable enough.

The room felt very clean as well, and off to the side of the beds is a large couch.

We did find that between the beds there was just enough space to walk, but we didn’t mind since the rest of the room had plenty of space.

The pillows were very comfortable and each bed came with two pillows.

On the bedside table, there was a telephone and a voice assistant that you could select your language. With this, you could set an alarm, find out hotel information, and more.

There was also a control center on the other bedside table that you could control the temperature of the room, turn on the bathroom light, and even turn on do not disturb.

Across from the beds, you’ll find a desk, a desk chair, a floor lamp, and a large television. This would be a great space if you needed to work in the hotel.

This was our view from our room. It overlooked the city and was beautiful.
