I’ll be 100% honest, after going to Disney World almost every single day for three years, my feet were in shambles! I had the same pair of tennis shoes for years, and they were good shoes until I started walking a lot more than the average person.

I knew my feet were sore each day, but that’s just how it goes in Disney World! I didn’t think much of it until after one 13+ hour day when I was literally limping to my car. Now, I’m using my pain to help you avoid yours by sharing what I wear to Disney World after seriously wrecking my feet.
Yes, we’re very cool around here because we’re talking foot health! I’m 26 years old, and already focusing on the health of my feet and how to take care of them. After you’ve found yourself literally limping in Disney World, you will also care a lot about how you take care of your feet and what products are right for you!

If you have serious concerns, it’s always important to talk with your doctor, but I will share which products helped me in the meantime. First was the Dr. Scholl’s Plantar Fasciitis Insoles!

These insoles made the biggest difference in my foot health. I was experiencing pain on the back of my heels that felt like they were being poked with a knife, and the right insoles gave me some serious relief. These are designed to add extra cushion on your heels, support your arch, and reduce pressure on your heels. Even if my feet were still sore at the end of the day, they didn’t hurt, which was huge for me. I put these into any shoes I wear!
Next, I am obsessed with my HOKA Clifton 10s.

These tennis shoes were pricey but SO WORTH IT! I hesitated on buying these popular shoes for months because I wasn’t sure if they were worth the hype, but they really are. I can wear these without my inserts if needed and still get the same cushion and support I need. The cushion on the bottom keeps my heels supported and gives me an extra bounce in my step, no matter how long I’ve been in the parks. They’re also super breathable, so my feet don’t get hot or sweaty on summer days.
If you’re looking for a more affordable option, I also love the New Balance 530s.

These shoes were a staple in my life before I bought my HOKAs, and the only reason I let them go was that I used them so much that I walked holes through the toes and the heels. When I say I loved these shoes, I LOVED them. They were sturdy and super supportive. Paired with my special insoles, my pain was gone almost instantly. Plus, they’re trendy, so they made me feel cute, which is important for lots of people in the parks.
Foot health can be SO important, especially during your Disney vacation. The wrong shoes can legitimately ruin your day, so don’t come unprepared. Be sure to keep following AllEars so you can learn from my mistakes before your perfect Disney World trip!
