Disney World Snacks Under $10 That Are Basically a Whole Meal

If you’re looking to get the best bang for your buck during your next Disney World, you’ve come to the right place!

Chicken Sandwich

It’s no secret that a Disney World vacation is EXPENSIVE. Travel, lodging, park tickets, souvenirs, and food costs can be a nightmare. With that said, it’s possible to save money on Disney World food and still get a delicious experience for UNDER $10!

Before I get into it, there needs to be an obvious disclaimer. Most meals are going to cost you over $10. If you’re paying for more than one person, then that’s absolutely a fact. However, if you’re not and don’t have much of an appetite, there are several meals the team here at AllEars gravitates towards when we’re on a $10 budget. While it would take YEARS for us to list every single Disney World meal under $10 that we love, we’ll give you the skinny on some of our favorites!

Sleepy Hollow Refreshments

Generally speaking, the best way to save on food is to bring your own into the parks. Another great tip is to bring a water bottle and fill up on free water. HOWEVER, if you’re set on paying Disney for some tasty eats and sips, your best bet monetarily will be breakfast.

Options like Sleepy Hollow Refreshments at Magic Kingdom, which serves up delicious waffles (including variations that include things like berries, whipped cream, bananas, chocolate-hazelnut, powdered sugar, and more) for under $10 is a great way to start your day. Heck, if you want breakfast for lunch, these waffles are a great choice!

We love this treat

If you’re feeling pastries, the Pick 3 Pastry Assortment at Oasis Sweets & Sips in EPCOT is ONLY $6.75 and lets you choose from a wide array of options, such as the Pistachio Baklava, Flogeres, and the Kataifi! If you have a bigger budget, you can even grab larger assortments of 5 or 7.

Speaking of pastries, Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie in the France Pavilion of EPCOT is an AllEars favorite that is PERFECT for any time of day! Here, you can find sub-$10 meals like soup bread bowls, quiches, baguettes, beignets, and other pastries. It’s possible to stack up on multiple items and not even hit that $10 mark!

The food here is quite filling and the definition of affordable. Not to mention, there are so many tasty options to choose from.

It’s time for a GIANT croissant

Let’s talk lunch and dinner. If you’re looking for something light, there are plenty of snacks offered around the resort that will satiate a small appetite. With that in mind, if you’re looking for something unique, we recommend the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls from the Spring Roll Cart in Magic Kingdom! These little guys cost $9.50 and are a big hit with the AllEars team! They taste just like a cheeseburger and come with a dipping sauce similar to a Big Mac sauce.

Another unique option would be the Chicken Fried Rice at Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes in Disney’s Animal Kingdom! This hearty side is $7.99 and technically a side, but our reporters agree that it is super filling and a really cost-effective way to do lunch.

If you’re looking for a classic option, chicken sandwiches could be the way to go!

Over at Chicken Guy! in Disney Springsevery single sandwich (non-combo) and tenders offering is under $10. This celebrity chef restaurant is helmed by Guy Fieri, and chicken lovers have to dine here AT LEAST once. Affordable and tasty? We’ll take that any day of the week.

Back at Magic Kingdom, fans of chicken can grab the Hot Honey Chicken with Sweet Potato Fries for only $9.99 at Golden Oak OutpostThis yummy entree comes with Chicken Nuggets tossed in Hot Sauce-Honey, served with New Orleans Olive Relish and Cajun-spiced Sweet Potato Fries.

While you won’t be able to pull this off at Disney’s table service restaurants, ordering a kids’ meal from one of the quick service restaurants is a great way to save! Usually, small versions of adult meals, these cheaper meals are a great alternative.

In fact, we’re unashamedly big fans of EPCOT’s La Catina De San Angel and its $9.50 kids’ meals! For that price point, you can get two chicken tacos (marinated grilled chicken on corn tortillas), a side of tortilla chips and melted cheese, fruit, and a drink. There are also Mac & Cheese, Chicken Tenders, and Empanadas con Queso for the same price — each coming with a drink and a side of fruit.

The San Angel Kid’s Meal

Finally, we’re going to cheat a little and talk about the Totcho Bowl at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Found at Woody’s Lunch Box in Toy Story Land, this treat is slightly over budget at $10.99 and comes with Potato Barrel, Corn Chips, Chili, and Cheese. The tots and chips have a great crunch that we can’t get enough of, and it works as a meal within itself.

You can also add on a Lunch Box Tart in your choice of flavor for only $5.29! Flavors vary, but we’ve seen these include Chocolate-Hazelnut, Raspberry, and Lemon-Blueberry.
