Disney Announces NEW Pixar Show

?Put that thing back where it came from, or so help me! So help me!?

Personally, Mike Wazowski’s song from Monsters, Inc. might be my favorite song in any Pixar movie, even though it might be the last one you’d think of. A brand new Pixar show has been announced, and I am BEGGING for this song to make the set list.

Hong Kong Disneyland revealed “an all-new immersive theatrical experience celebrating the joy of friendship and the power of play.” We’ve only received one concept art image so far, but it looks like our pals from Monsters, Inc. will be on stage!

We can see Mike, Sully, Boo, and even CDA members walking through the audience. There are also tons of cans filled with screams and hanging doors, just like the movie. Since they called it a Pixar-themed show and not just a Monsters, Inc. one, we’re super excited to see what other characters are incorporated.

Monsters, Inc. has been getting its time to shine, and we’re here for it! Over in Disney World, Hollywood Studios is getting a new Monsters, Inc. themed area with a hanging door roller coaster and a new show.

There will also be restaurants and chances to meet the characters of Monstropolis. This is the first themed land dedicated to Mike and Sull,y and we’re ready to grab our Monsters University hats and say hi to our favorite monsters.

Also in Hollywood Studios, Jollywood Nights, the after-hours event during the holiday season, has a Pixar Disco! This year, the dance party will have Edna Mode, Frozone, Joy, Mike Wazowski, and other Pixar pals. Last year, Sadness was also included, so I hope she makes a comeback.

Over at Disneyland, the opposite might be happening for the dynamic duo. Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sully to the Rescue, a ride in Disney California Adventure, is closing down to make way for the new Avatar land expansion. Well, at least you can visit Disney World to get your fix.
