Disney World Announces NEW Hotel Pool Closure Starting Next Week

Surprise, surprise, another refurbishment is about to take place at Disney World!

A swimming pool over at Disney World’s All-Star Movies Resort will be closing for maintenance very soon. Let’s take a look at the details!

The Fantasia kiddie pool over at the All-Star Movies Resort will be closing for refurbishment starting September 8th. Disney is expecting to have the pool closed through late October, although there is no exact reopening date as of right now.

The good news is that even though the Fantasia kiddie pool is closed, the Fantasia Feature Pool and Duck Pond Pool will remain open. Guests who are staying at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort will still be able to enjoy a nice cool off despite the kiddie pool being closed.

Another alternative is available for guests staying at All-Star Movies, as they are able to use the kiddie pools at Disney’s All-Star Music and Disney’s All-Star Sports.

If you’re staying at the resort over the next month, you may hear or see maintenance taking place. However, we wouldn’t spend time worrying about that, as Disney does an amazing job making sure they don’t disturb guests with the work going on.
