This Celebrity Couple Will NOT Take Their Kids to McDonald's

If you’ve been visiting AllEars.net for a while, you’re probably aware that we enjoy a good ol’ McDonald’s burger or Happy Meal from time to time (especially if the Happy Meal toys are Disney).

You only live once, so why not enjoy those hot and crispy McDonald’s fries, right? Well, that’s not how one celebrity feels.

Jessica Biel, known for her part in 7th Heaven, has two sons, Silas (10) and Phineas (5) with singer and *NSYNC alum, Justin Timberlake. According to Variety, if these two boys ask for a Happy Meal from their parents, the answer will always be no.

Biel has shared that she’s opting for foods she can pronounce as she continues on a healthier lifestyle and cleaner eating. She explained, “I don’t want to put stuff in that I cannot pronounce. That’s my new rule: I don’t know what this crazy word is. I am not [putting] this word in my body or my kid’s body, you know?”

Instead of paying for lower quality food with questionable ingredients, Biel would prefer to splurge and know that what she is eating in wholesome. “I just feel like I don’t know what’s going on with [the] quality of that food. It’s stuff like that that I’m like, ‘No, we’re not,'” she said. “Let’s go have a great burger and fries at a fancy place. I’d rather pay more for you to have something fancy than something like that.”

It’s certainly not a bad consideration from Biel. If you’re looking to be healthier and eat better quality food, then McDonald’s is probably not the place for you. Luckily, if you’re eating at Disney World, there are LOTS of options for good (and healthy) foods. Garden Grill in EPCOT and several other spots offer foods grown right at Disney World, specifically in the Living with the Land greenhouses.
