Wearing the right shoes to Disney World is incredibly important — we say it at least four times a month, but that’s because it’s TRUE.

Whether you prefer sandals, sneakers, or flip flops (looking at you, Myranda, I don’t know how she does it), there’s no right or wrong choice. However, you’ll want to wear shoes you KNOW are comfortable for you and are already broken in. However, when you’re older, you may need more support, so if you’re a grandmother heading to the parks soon, or you know YOUR grandmother needs some new recommendations, this post is for you!
If you’re looking for the top of the line, best support, and the shoes that have thousands of positive reviews, the Hoka Women’s Clifton 10 Sneakers are the way to go.

These are well known and recommended by TONS of Disney World goers and Cast Members alike! These are certainly on the pricier side, but if you know you need a pair of shoes that will really support you and that you can use around home AND at the parks, the investment may be worth it.
If you’re looking for something a little more affordable but still comfortable, the Skechers Women’s Loving Life Sneakers are a great spot to start.

These have Memory Foam as well as a FlexSole midsole design, but it’s important to note that these are NOT water resistant, so we don’t recommend them for the rainy season.
If you’re more of a sandals fan, the Birkenstock Women’s Arizona Soft Footbed Sandals could be just what you’re looking for!

These have adjustable buckles and are a medium width, making them especially great for those with wider feet. However, if you prefer to have strap at the back of your foot to keep your foot in place, this may not be the style for you. Likewise though, if you DON’T like the feeling that your foot is trapped, then these may be perfect!
Looking for something that will dry even easier? Look no further than the OOFOS OOahh Recovery Slides.

These use a combination of OOfoam technology and a patented footbed design for maximum comfort. They’ll also dry quick on rainy days, but make sure you watch out for slipping hazards, and as with any open-toed shoes, be cautious on escalators.
If you do prefer flip flops like Myranda, look no further than the Clarks Women’s Arla Glison Flip Flop!

These have more support than your traditional flip flop, which is great for the parks, and they use cushion soft comfort technology to make every step light and easy.
