3 FUN Things We Bet You Didn't Know You Could Do at This Orlando Hotel

We recently had the opportunity to stay at Orlando World Center Marriott, which is the largest Marriott hotel in the world.

We’ve spent some time enjoying our room, as well as checking out the Disney World fireworks views from the hotel, and taking the hotel’s free shuttle to Epic Universe. However, there are several fun things to do at the hotel, too, and we’re going to tell you all about them.

So our stay at Orlando World Center Marriott was a lot of fun, especially at night. Now, there are some super fun activities you can do at this hotel and they’re all FREE. We started our day with a Gatorland Animal Encounter.

The encounter is 45 minutes, and during it, one of the Gatorland employees brings out some animals. We saw a tarantula, a ball python, a scorpion, and a baby alligator.

We also learned a lot of cool facts about the animals, and we learned that if we ever had to run away from an alligator, you should not run in a zigzag, but straight ahead because you’re faster that way. Okay, that’s useful knowledge, right? We learned a lot about all the animals, though, and the experience was interesting.

This encounter was so engaging that even the kids were really into it. We’re honestly shocked that this experience is a free activity offered by the hotel, and we’d highly recommend it.

Later that evening, we got to go to a Mermaids & Glow Party. When we arrived at the party, hotel staff handed out glow sticks and light-up wands, so we could be PART of the glow happening around the pool.

Of course, the pool area itself was also all lit up with some fun, glowy ambient lighting.

Add that to all the glowsticks and wands, and you’ve got a glow party.

However, we also got a chance to see Mermaid Elle and her friend. The mermaids’ tails even light up. You can even get photos with them, if you want.

That’s not all, though. Right after the Mermaids & Glow Party at 9 PM, there was a Laser Light Show at the pool. It looks even cooler with all the glowy things in the pool, too.

These are just some of the fun activities you can participate in when you stay at Orlando World Center Marriott.
