REVIEW: Hate the Chaos of Chef Mickey’s? Go HERE for Brunch in Disney World Instead!

Did you know that some of Disney World’s BEST restaurants are outside of the theme parks?

Disney Springs

Not only are there several delicious spots in the Disney World hotels, but you’ll also find some premier dining in Disney Springs. Among the options in Disney Springs is Terralina Crafted Italian, and we recently stopped by to see if it’s worthy of a spot on our list of favorite restaurants in Disney World!

Background

Terralina Crafted Italian is located in The Landing at Disney Springs. Disney describes this restaurant as a “warm, rustic setting” where you can enjoy authentic Italian dishes.

Here’s a peek inside!

And fun fact — on Saturdays and Sundays, Terralina offers brunch! Let’s check out that brunch menu and see how it stacks up.

Atmosphere

This restaurant is designed to feel like you’re stepping into an Italian home, and that’s definitely evident in the cosy decor.

How cozy!

During brunch, the dining rooms were pretty empty, so you could likely score a last-minute reservation here or get on the walk-up list easily.

It’s nice and relaxing inside

There are lots of brick accents and warm tones throughout the dining rooms. Overall, it makes you feel pretty comfortable and relaxed — good vibes for sure!

Who’s hungry?

So what are we ordering for our brunch?

Food & Drinks

First up, we grabbed the Breakfast Pizza for $17. This is topped with fennel sausage, roasted red peppers, mozzarella, and a sunny-side-up egg.

Breakfast Pizza

This pizza was quite delicious! It was pretty light and had a crust that was crunchy on the outside and soft inside. There wasn’t a lot of sausage, which was honestly good because the meaty flavor didn’t take away from the overall taste. The egg was SUUUPER runny, so beware if that’s not your thing. There weren’t too many roasted peppers, but they helped balance the flavors with some sweetness and added a nice crunch.

It’s loaded with toppings!

We also grabbed the Spaghetti Carbonara for $24. This is made with parmesan egg yolk cream sauce, peas, and bacon.

Spaghetti Carbonara

The spaghetti was both sweet and savory at the same time, with noodles that were firm but not too hard to chew. It didn’t have an overwhelming number of peas, but they showed up every once in a while to add a burst of flavor and texture. The bacon was delicious — not too fatty or crunchy. Overall, this was a good blend of flavors and textures, and we’d totally try it again.

YUM!

To drink, we picked up the Mimosa Flight for $22. This comes with Cranberry Orange, Strawberry Hibiscus, and Grapefruit Rosemary mimosas.

Mimosa Flight

The Cranberry Orange mimosa had a very strong orange flavor that overpowered the cranberry, almost making it taste like straight-up orange juice with a kick. Even so, it was our favorite of the three.

The Strawberry Hibiscus was incredibly strong with a sparkling juice flavor on the front end and not much strawberry at all. Definitely a LOT of hibiscus that made it rather tart.

The Grapefruit Rosemary was the most balanced of the three, but it starts off quite sour and then tapers off a bit. The rosemary balances well with the sour flavor, but there is a small essence of pine to this balance.

Who doesn’t love a Mimosa Flight?!

And then to wrap up the meal, we got the Seasonal Panna Cotta for $13. It’s served with a wild berry compote — looks delicious!

Seasonal Panna Cotta

This treat was incredibly refreshing; actually perfect for brunch! It was sweet and light, while not being too sugary. There was a really decent portion of berries here with icing sugar. The only thing we’d change? We wish it were a larger portion!

We want MORE!

So, how did we feel about Terralina brunch overall?

Magic or Tragic?

This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if…

  • You want a relaxing brunch that’s easy to book in Disney Springs. Terralina often has last-minute reservations and walk-up availability, so it’s one of the more accessible brunch options.
  • You love Italian fare and you want it with a twist. The Italian-style brunch is a really fun idea overall, and not something you see often in Disney World.
  • You want a relaxing, laid-back meal. This was nicely paced, and the restaurant wasn’t crowded at all!

You should skip this Disney World spot if…

  • You want the BEST brunch in Disney World. While our meal here was absolutely delicious and it impressed us, it’s not the BEST brunch in all of Disney World. We have other restaurants we’d choose first.
  • You’re in the parks. This isn’t a restaurant we would recommend you leave the theme parks to come to. It’s better if you’re already in Disney Springs.
  • You want the best Italian food in Disney World. The Italian fare here is pretty good, but it’s not going to be the most spectacular Italian food you’ve had in your life.

Ultimately, we really enjoyed this meal, and we would recommend it if you haven’t tried it before! It’s probably not landing in our top ten dining spots anytime soon, but the brunch was surprisingly underrated.

Not a bad meal, eh?
