This year, the Disney Fantasy will take over the Summer European cruise sailings. Once the season is over, just like the Dream did last year, the Fantasy will enter a dry-dock period. This is the time that necessary maintenance can be done on the vessel as it is raised out of the water; hence, it is a dry dock. During this dry dock, the Fantasy will also receive some updates!
The sister ships, Dream and Fantasy, have a Cars-themed quick service area, and after dry-dock, the Fantasy will be serving up Mexican dishes at Ramone’s Cantina. You can order both bowls and tacos.
Funnel suites debuted when the Disney Wish set sail, and now, these suites are being added to the older ships. A funnel suite themed to Sorcerer Mickey will replace the current spot for Edge. The same change was made last year aboard the Disney Dream.
Don’t worry, EDGE, the club for ages 11-14, will have a new space on Deck 5. These spaces will be the same as the latest changes on the Disney Dream.
An updated lounge for Concierge guests will be inspired by Herclues. As you probably guessed, this change was also made during the Dream’s dry dock last year.
If you enjoy relaxing and visiting the Rainforest Room during your Disney Cruise vacation, the Senses Spa on the Disney Fantasy will be updated during its dry dock!
We can’t wait to see all these changes after the Fantasy finishes her dry dock later this year. To stay up to date on all the latest Disney news, continue to follow along with us here at AllEars!
