Cool Kid Summer is about to get even better!
Recently, Disney shared more about several summer offerings for Disney World, including new Kid Zones in the parks, H2O Glow Events, and new parades coming soon! Now, Disney’s latest announcement has us surprised and thrilled for more summer fun.
For the first time since 2019, both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach will be open at the same time this summer! Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are Disney’s two water parks in Orlando that have, for the last several years, operated on an alternating schedule where only one park is open at a time.
From May 21st through September 7th, 2025, both of the water parks will be in operation for guests to choose between. Disney shared that this is in celebration of Cool Kid Summer (which has several fun things coming soon) and Blizzard Beach’s 30th anniversary.
To prepare for both water parks being open, Blizzard Beach will close from May 1st through May 20th. We can’t wait for the option to choose which water park we head to this summer! As always, keep following AllEars for more Disney news and updates.
